What are the Giants?

This website deals with any specifically human, or human-like creature – in fact or legend – that is greater in physical size, characteristics and strength than an average human. It will not tackle the topic of Bigfoot or Yeti per se – rather devote energy to articles, papers and other fascinating information regarding semi-human or human (homo sapiens giganticus) giants.

Why Giants?

The publisher decided that the world did not have a current and universal explanation and resource for online researchers of this puzzling and somewhat occulted subject of arguably human psychic exaggeration, on one hand; and on the other hand, amazing archaeological and historical evidence corroborating Biblical accounts of the actual existence of human or humanoid giants in mankind's past.

When did Giants live?

Anthropologists have found evidence of humanoid giants existing into the far distant past, over 1 million years ago (see Gigantopithecus). Since then it is possible that numerous civilizations, troupes and tribes of human and human-like giants lived and perished across planet earth.

Those mentioned in the Bible, Nephilim, Emim and Anakim, may have been a tiny element of a once expansive human giant civilization, especially before the Great Flood of the Bible, and other sources.
