"A Spiritual Ultimatum to America"

"You (God) meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, who remembers You in Your ways. You are indeed angry, for we have sinned, in these ways we continue; and we need to be saved.  But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; we all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.  And there is no one who calls on Your name, who stirs himself up to take hold of You; for You have hidden Your face from us, and have consumed us because of our iniquities."

My dear readers,

For several days I have been trying to write this note but I, like any other American, was glued to my TV, grieving and crying in front of a disaster so great that seems surreal, and so intense that it almost numbs the human senses.  I, like you, have tasted the bitter flavor of the horror of this indescribable human drama, the insult of the unprovoked rape of our national pride, and that emotional depression that is caused by the inability to correct what is so wrong in this world in which we live.

September 11, 2001 marked the begining of a new chapter in human history. We all feel that we have just passed a certain threshold, but many don't know which, much less why. That Black Tuesday was the most tragic day in American history by means of the most cowardly act in the history of humanity. But, what about Friday?... What Friday? you might ask. The following one. The one we should all call Black Friday. Friday the 14th, 2001. If Tuesday was a Day of Infamy, Friday was of a day of BLASPHEMY, and of as much spiritual horror as the social horror which took place three days before. On that ominous Black Friday we saw on our TVs being officially born the New World Religion wich will be pushed in the soon to be installed New World Dis-Order.

The nefarious attack against the World Trade Center and the Pentagon meant the end of many thousands of precious lives and the end of American sense of security. And for it, the enemies of America celebrated. The vile and satanic religious service celebrated at the National Cathedral meant the end of the era of opportunities for America to repent and go back to God, thus sealing the fate of our precious nation. Satan and his demons also celebrated.

On Black Tuesday, radical muslims, traitors to the cause of humanity, wrapped in a medieval religious ideology, which only conceives hatred and death, conquest and tyrany, leaving behind any shred of decency, honor and sensibility, died for a cause that only Satan and fools can conceive as worthy. And with them, not only more than 6,000 innocent victims died, peace died with them.

On Black Friday, so-called Christians leaders, traitors to the cause of the Cross, wrapped in a filthy political correctness, which only conceives the nightmare of an Anti-Christian New World Order, and New World Religion (all of them as old as the antediluvian world) leaving behind any shred of decency, honor and Christian value, dared to mention in the same sentence Mohammed –a demon-possessed human, who for his rebellion and sins now inhabits hell– and Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God who now and forever reigns in Heaven. And with them, the entire nation was lead astray from what the Founding Fathers of America –and God Himself– dreamed for our country.

Yes, they were all traitors and one was a coward (he who apologized for praying in the name of Jesus Christ). Traitors with their political correctness to the spiritual correctness of our only God and Father. Traitors to the message of the Cross. Traitors to Him who said He was "the (only) Way, the (only) Truth and the (only) Life". Since when can we go to the Father in the name of satanic Mohammed? Nor even in the name of our blessed father Abraham?... Since Black Friday?

Yes, they were traitors. But not only traitors to the Kingdom of God, traitors even to the highest interest of our beloved country, because America can only subsist if God is with us; and He will only be with us if we are with Him. He will be for us if we are for Him.

These traitors of sociologically golden names, of international fame and powerful connections did not represent –much less invoke– the only, real and Living God to whom this nation owes so much for His innumerable blessings, and who can only save America from her actual and future enemies –like He repeatedly did in the past.

What America needed on Black Friday was a courageous voice that, with sensitive love for the country, the Church and the sinners (of whom he would consider himself one like the rest), would have confessed to God all the sins of our nation. No accusations, nor finger-pointing, just an inventory of our national sins and –most important– the sins of the American church and her so-called leaders; but that vain and arrogant display of fluffy synchretism was another spit in the face of God. And our troubles with Him increased right at the moment when the opportunity to clean them all was at hand.

Had they turned to the original God of America, in humble and repentant confession and supplication, the tide of bad events lately happening to America would turn around, because the control of history is in the hands of God and not of men.

The Word of the Lord clearly says:

"When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or I command the locusts to devour the land, or I send pestilence among My people, if My people –who are called by My name– will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, THEN I will hear from Heaven, and I will forgive their sin and I will heal their land."  (NKJ)  2 Chronicles 7:13-14

America, there is no time left. We are collectively on a free fall that only –if we go God in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ– can be stopped. Repent, repent so that we don't have to die as a nation. Despite all our military, technological and financial might we will be vanished and conquered by barbarians, like it happened to Rome.

Yes, terrorists, drug-smugglers and many others are our enemies. Yes, we have Britain and others who are our friends. But that is totally inconsequential in front of whatever decree comes out of the mouth of God. If we, personally and as a nation, do not repent and straighten our ways in front of God our week enemies will conquer us, and our weapons and friends help will be futile. Only God is our sure defense. So far, He had been our Shield, reason why even though our borders were totally open and our airports insecure, nothing major had taken place; but His Shield was lifted and unimaginable horror descended upon us as an unexpected and deadly lightining.

Think of this America: Europeans came to this land looking for freedom to worship the God of the Bible in accordance to their conscience and not to dictates of the state. It was in His name that this most awesome nation was founded. That is why they prospered. Later on, when the winds of rebellion against an unjust and foreign crown swept our land, leading this nation into the first democratic experience since the ancient Greco-Roman world, the name of Christ was respectfully and lovingly invoked in every assembly or meeting that took place. And the country grew to a height never seen in the anals of history. Who did this? The millions of peasant and illiterate Europeans that emigrated to prevent starvation? Their children, inheritors of such poor background? No. Sorry to give a reality check that attacks your undue pride. IT WAS GOD WHO MADE THIS COUNTRY GROW LIKE NONE OTHER BEFORE OR AFTER !!! Why? Because our country was the only country in the history of mankind that was founded in the name of the only God in the world: the God of the Bible. The first one was Israel, founded at the foot of the mount of Sinai. At that time He was invoked as I AM or Elohim Adonai. By the time that America was founded, a new name of that very same and only God had been given to mankind: Jesus of Nazareth, Christ of the world, the Messiah of Israel. And it was in that name, and no other, that America came to be the amazement of all the nations and the desire of every man in our planet. The blessings of the Almighty had been poured freely and abundantly over the nation of peasants that became kings. But Americans did not appreciated this, neither took it into account, and we took the credit that was owed to God and we said: "Look at what we have done with our own effort and what our mighty hand has conquered with our personal sacrifice. Look at what with our wisdom and power we have achieved..." That is why we are proud of being Americans, because we think that we did what God created as result of Him blessing us, due to us obeying Him in times long past.

The rebellious sin of pride always leads into many other sins, and so it happened in America. The selfish search for material riches became our national goal. The Dollar became a false god, that we thought to be mighty and trustworthy. So we became foreign to the idea of our own national motto: "in God we trust". Whatever was convenient to trade and finances became acceptable to the point in which during the recent and disastrous Clinton era it was normal to hear that after all "character does not count" if our pockets are full. We expelled Jesus Christ from the schools and brought in witchcraft, Darwinism and "New" Age. We aborted our own sons and daughters and desecrated their remnants. We took a bath in the muddy waters of harlotry, adultery, homosexuality, pornography. We gloated while damming the Sacred Name of God, to express anger or just to play phony. We elevated to the status of heroes some of the most corrupt elements in society and then tried as hard as possible to imitate them. Meanwhile we scorn whatever seemed to be even mildly righteous and holy. We inundated the airwaves with an intoxicating filth without parallel since the Flood. We elected, and reelected, to political power crooks, criminals and degenerates of all kind, while we rejected those who were friends of God. We called good to sin, and called bad what was righteous. How can we not be in this mess we are in now?

Notice that I say we, not you, not some. I say, and I mean it, we. Including, most fairly, myself. All of us have fallen and sinned in one way or another and who cares what the flavor of our sin is. Crap is crap... and we are full of it. We need cleansing. All of us.

And what about the American church? What to say about it? Are we exempt of God's judgement? We are worst than anybody else!!! America has lost its course because the American church has none. The secular leaders of our nation have no example whatsoever from the spiritual leaders in the church. We portray to hold the Spirit of God, but what we have is a lot of arrogant denial, self-righteousness and hypocrisy. We adolesce of an incredible lack of trust in our God and we forget Him in the solution of our problems. Even more, we have an aberrant thirst for social recognition, money and power. We are full of vanity and pompuos entertainment whenever we meet. We want, search, claim and even fake gifts of the Spirit of God for the sole enjoyment of our fleshly emotions. We are full of hellish competition and satanic divisions. We are as lazy as fat cats on a confortable chair. We evangelize to brag about it. We tithe to receive from God in return. We obey for fear, not for Love for Him who died for us. We are intolerant with the sinner instead of help him. We condemn our brother for not thinking doctrinally like us. We don't want the poor and the dirty sitting in the first pews of our rich-looking Christian synagogues. We are farisaical Judases who see ourselves like modern Pauls or Stevens. We practice racial, ethnic and gender discrimination. We talk with grandeur about love and cannot even love our own children or our own parents. We say that we belong to Christ, but we do not think like Him, much less act. We also call OK what is wrong, and call harmful to what is spiritually convienient. We fallow so-called Christian leaders like if they were infallible, and they love to appear like it and be revered. That is why they call each other "reverend", which means worthy of reverence or adoration, a title only is suitable to God Himself.

Hah, we pastors, deacons, theologians, teachers, etc, we are even more liable in front of God than anybody else. We constantly betray our Lord for silver coins, bigger buildings, a better retirement plan, more luxurious vacations, better schooling for our children, nice looking feminine legs, a pad in the back, more "powerful" contacts, higher status in our community, inter-denominational wars and wars with other denominations. We think of ourselves as the luminaries of society and therefore disdain the drunk in the bar that cries in pain, the drug user who tries to escape his intolerable reality, the prostitute that some of us have used, the gay who experiences lack of love from his father and might even be dying with AIDS, the poor who was irresponsible or unable to come out of his situation. We do not hear that 3-month old convert who innocently dares to give us a disident opinion because he found a truth in the Bible that counterdicts what we learn years ago in seminary or in a voluminous book. "How insolent, who he think he is. Doesn't he know who and what I am?" –we think– and continue our way loosing the opportunity to hear a message from God. We detest whoever proves us wrong in any way, hold grudges, take vengeance. We do not let our life to be exposed and open for all to see, leaving to the human eye only what is religiously correct to observe.

And we call ourselves embassadors of the Kingdom of God on earth. What a shame! What tragic consequences that has brought and still shall bring.

I don't claim to be a prophet, but I knew that something terrible was about to happen to our dear and blessed nation. For some time, I had been preaching and teaching about it in the church where my wife and I serve as pastors. Some people had said that I was negative or a prophet of doom; but then, like now, I knew what I know; and I know something that I wish I could unlearn or forget, like if such denial was sufficient to prevent reality from happening; but that is just wishful thinking, and that only causes even more frustration and more depression. I knew what I still know because I know God –personally with and in my spirit,– I know His philosophy or the way he thinks about some things because He is my Friend. I know my friends. Sadly to say, I also know Satan –indirectly though, through his evil deeds. I know my enemies.   I also know Sin and its deadly and inescapable consequences. I am alive. I also know my Bible and the Message it carries.

You might wonder what is it that I know. Well, let me tell you but, please, pay attention because your safety, your family's and our nation's may depend upon you, me, all of us taking heed of the truth revealed by God to anyone who knows Him and who has ears to hear Him. There is a message in this phenomenal tragedy that has occurred to all of us. Can we decipher it?  Come, let us hear what God has to say.

The Bible says in Deuteronomy 32:16-21 & 28,

"They provoked Him to jealousy with foreign gods; with abominations they provoked Him to anger. They sacrificed to demons, not to God, to gods they did not know, to new gods, new arrivals that your fathers did not fear. Of the Rock who begot you, you are unmindful, and have forgotten the God who fathered you. And when the LORD saw it, He spurned them, because of the provocation of His sons and His daughters. And He said: 'I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end will be, for they are a perverse generation, children in whom there is no faith. They have provoked Me to jealousy by what is not God; they have moved Me to anger by their foolish idols.'...  For they are a nation void of counsel, nor is there any understanding in them. Oh, that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!"  

I don't have much to add to this severe worning coming from the very Throne of His Justice. Like He says in Revelation, "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches" If it sounds somewhat alright to you what I have said in this writing but you don't understand very well ask Him to reveal it to you. He promised: in Jeremiah 33:3"'Call to Me, and I will answer you, and I will show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.' He does not want at all to destroy us. He just wants all of us —individually and as a nation— to procede to Repentance and to have with Him a personal relationship that would be intimate and healthy only through Jesus Christ's sacrifice on our behalf at the Cross of Calvary. Remember, in the midst of all the tragedy that took place in September 11, 2001 we still can see God's Mercy amidst the pooring of His infallible Justice. Had the attack taken place a few hours later the amount of deaths would had multiplied several times and —terrible like it already is— the human pain caused by it would had been much worst than now. Such care is not going not last forever if America persists in her ungodly ways. Mass destruction is at the hands of our enemies. Divine help is within the reach of our very hearts. Wake up spiritually, America. Wake up and live at the refreshing shadow of Jesus Christ; otherwise, it only remains the flames of hell reaching our nation on this earth.

"For this commandment which I command you today, it is not too mysterious for you, nor is it far off. It is not in heaven, that you should say, 'Who will ascend into heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?' Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, 'Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?' But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it. See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them."  Deuteronomy 30:11-20
