Just Interesting:   The space shuttle Columbia rocketed into orbit with Israel's first astronaut Thursday on a scientific research flight surrounded by unprecedented security — and with religious and political overtones

Just Interesting:   Israeli astronaut bombed Iraqi reactor in 1981. Israel's first astronaut, mission payload specialist Col. Ilan Ramon, is a career fighter pilot who bombed the Iraqi nuclear reactor in 1981, a senior official said

Prophetic Israel:   The latest polls show a re-awakening of support for the right-wing, and a corresponding drop for the left-wing. The Likud could win between 30 and 34 seats according to the various polls - it has 19 in the outgoing Knesset - while Labor would receive 19-20 (down from 26), and Shinui - 12-15 (instead of 6)

Prophetic Israel:   Israel's former Chief Rabbi Avraham Shapira has written a letter of endorsement for the National Religious Party. "One must vote for a religious list that is loyal to all the values of Torah," wrote Rabbi Shapira, who serves as Rosh Yeshiva (Dean) of the Merkaz HaRav Kook yeshiva in Jerusalem

Prophetic Israel:   On the hareidi religious front, the Council of Torah Sages - spiritual guide for the United Torah Judaism party - also issued a letter to its followers last night. The rabbis wrote that it is not permitted to vote for a party whose members are not Sabbath-observant. Though in the past, hareidi voters barely needed to be reminded of this point, this election features Baruch Marzel - an observant Jew who has great appeal among certain hareidi sectors - as #2 on the Herut (Freedom) list

Prophetic Israel:   The army has begun building what Defense Minister Sha'ul Mofaz has called "specialized defense packages" in two relatively isolated Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria. The cost for perimeter protection around the communities is some six times less per kilometer than for the wall being constructed between the Arab-populated areas of Yesha and the rest of Israel

Worthy of Attention:   Would Sen. Joe Lieberman put American first if his country had a fall-out with Israel? According to 32% of respondents to a recent poll, the first Orthodox Jew seeking the Democratic nomination for president "might not act in America's best interests if they conflict with Israel's"

War in Israel:   One Israeli was killed and three others were wounded in a shooting attack just before 8 P.M. Friday evening in Hebron. Both gunmen were killed by IDF troops, and the army imposed a curfew on the West Bank city

War in Israel:   3 would-be suicide bombers arrested. Three potential suicide bombers, one affiliated with Hamas and two with Islamic Jihad, were among 35 Palestinians arrested on Thursday

War in Israel:   For the second time in less than two months, PA terrorists tried to blow up an Israeli Navy vessel. It happened this morning off the northern Gaza coast, near the beach of the Jewish community of Dugit. Israeli sailors noticed a suspicious raft approaching them, in waters banned to PA vessels. They opened fire at the threat, and the raft exploded. No Israelis were hurt, and no damage was caused

Enemies of Israel:   Israel Skeptical of Egypt Plan to Host Muslim Palestinian Talks. Israel responded coolly Thursday evening to Egypt's decision to invite a broad spectrum of Palestinian factions to landmark face-to-face talks in Cairo next week on an Egyptian proposal to halt attacks against Israel

Enemies of Israel:   Arab interior ministers have agreed on a multi-phase plan to bolster security cooperation against Islamic insurgents

Enemies of Israel:   Russia and Syria are resuming military cooperation talks that include the construction of a nuclear facility

Enemies of Israel:   Moroco is advancing toward completion of its first nuclear reactor

Enemies of Israel:   Kuwait has resumed its order of an advanced U.S. tactical military communications system

Rumors of Wars:   Over the last decade, the United States has stopped looking toward Israel as a model in the use of combat air power, senior Israeli military sources said. They said the United States regards itself as at the forefront of combat air technology and doctrine [ Truth or empty pride ]

Rumors of Wars:   The United States is raising the level of its military coordination with Israel in advance of its expected war against Iraq. Next week, General Charles Wald, deputy commander of the U.S. European Command (USEUCOM), will visit here. Wald, who is in charge of ties with the Israel Defense Forces, will meet with Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz and senior IDF officers. He will apparently also visit the American soldiers who came to Israel with the Patriot missile batteries

Rumors of Wars:   Israel and Germany signed a missile deal by which Germany will loan two Patriot ground-to-air missile systems that will be operated by German soldiers. The missile batteries will arrive in the coming days and remain deployed here for two years

Worthy of Attention:   "Mah nishma?" is the Hebrew version of "What´s new?" It´s an innocuous, universal greeting which needn´t mean much more than a passing hello. The answer given is usually "Baruch Hashem" - "Thank God", which can mean anything from "Great!" to "Don´t even ask. My enemies should have my troubles." Often, upon hearing a dubious sounding "Baruch Hashem", the questioner will respond with, "Gee, what´s wrong?" At one momentous point in my life, I promised myself that I would always respond with a hearty and cheerful "Baruch Hashem". I´d mean it, and if I didn´t, I´d say it as if I did (which I´m sure my innermost soul always does. It´s just that there are so many outermost factors that factor in and influence us). After all, even when life doesn´t meet all our expectations and things are not quite perfect (how many things in life are perfect?), and even in times of great sorrow and distress, "lo aleinu", there are still countless things to be grateful for, things which deserve a hearty "Baruch Hashem"

Worthy of Attention:   One of the most exciting pieces of news in years is that of the remarkable archeological find, a clay tablet in ancient Hebrew from the 9th century BC, about which the entire Jewish world and much of the Christian world is suddenly abuzz. The tablet appears to be from one of the ancient kings of Judea, Jehoash, describing repairs performed on the First Temple, the original Temple of Solomon, repairs described in the Second Book of Kings in the Bible. It has been declared a bona fide antiquity to be taken at face value by Israel's National Geological Institute

Worthy of Attention:   It was too good to be true... We in Israel finally had some headlines that we could be proud of. Col. Ilan Ramon, an Israeli fighter pilot who had flown missions during the Yom Kippur War and had participated in the destruction of Iraq´s nuclear reactor, blasted off into space with kosher food, a prayer book and mezuzah in hand. He also had in his heart an intention to keep Shabbat. Yep, the whole world read about it and heard him say, “I feel I am representing all Jews and all Israelis. I am a kind of proof that even with all of the hard times, we can go on.” Talk about the "right stuff"!

Worthy of Attention:   For the past nine years I´ve been a staunch, unwavering critic of the so-called "Peace Camp" in Israel; ever since that fateful, tragic, deceptively sunny day in September, 1993, when the Jewish leadership sat on the White House lawn, mesmerized by the impossible dream of peace with Muslim murderers. As the Israeli leadership unwittingly signed away the lives of hundreds of its citizens and endangered countless thousands, Israel was transformed by the Oslo process into another Bosnia, with active warfare in the streets of every city, and the number of murders climbing dramatically each year. And as Israel moved closer and closer to the false "peace" position of Israeli retreat to the 1967 indefensible borders, the true Muslim Arab vision grew clearer; the map on Arafat´s wall showed a Muslim Palestine covering the width and breadth of Israel and the Muslim Palestinians were almost there - they smelled blood, literally and figuratively

Worthy of Attention:   Sharon warns Palestinians against stepping-up terrorism during Iraq war Prime Minister Ariel Sharon tells foreign reporters that if the Palestinians sit quietly during the expected war, "nothing will happen to them"

Worthy of Attention:   Hizbullah has completed a major reshuffle of its military command as part of preparations for any Israeli war against the Iranian-backed insurgency force

Worthy of Attention:   Defense Minister Sha'ul Mofaz told the Cabinet this morning that in light of recent events, Israel should be prepared for an American attack on Iraq in the coming weeks. "The finding of the nuclear warheads in Iraq proves that Iraq has lied to the world"

War in Israel:   Muslim Arab terrorists from the Palestinian Authority operated on a number of fronts last night and early this morning

War in Israel:   The murder of Netanel [Nati] Ozeri in his home while enjoying his Sabbath meal with his family on Friday night is a many-faceted tragedy, which has still not ended

Enemies of Israel:   In his first public comments regarding U.S. policy in the Middle East on the "day after" the anticipated war in Iraq, Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz said the administration will intensify its focus on the establishment of a Palestinian state

Enemies of Israel:   "Beloved Saddam, strike Tel Aviv," Muslim Palestinians chant in West Bank rallies. Thousands of Muslim Palestinians chanting "Death to America" marched in West Bank cities on Sunday, while on the third day of 'Iraq Solidarity Week' expressing their opposition to a possible US military strike against Iraq [ To these enemies of America, President Bush wants to reward with a Muslim country that would surely be not only a lethal enemy of our friend Israel, but a staunch enemy of the United States of America to which Bush swore to only serve and protect against any enemy. I wonder how it serves America to reward our enemies. I wonder if it is possible to call Bush stance on the matter treason or perjury ]

Enemies of Israel:   Muslims and Arabs will attack American targets everywhere if the United States goes to war against Iraq, a senior member of the militant Islamic movement Hamas said in Gaza on Friday. He made the new threat during a march by 3,000 Palestinians through the winding streets of Gaza City on the 12th anniversary of the 1991 Gulf War. Some protesters fired shots shot in the air and others held portraits of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein

Enemies of Israel:   Draft PA constitution calls for democracy, Islam as official religion [ What a bad joke is this! Islam is just the opposite to Democracy and an absolute synonym of cruel Tyranny ]

Enemies of Israel:   Fatah says that there is no alternative to the intifada. Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat on Sunday dispatched his interior minister, Hani al-Hasan, to Cairo for talks with Egyptian officials on plans for a Palestinian conference on a possible cease-fire with Israel

Enemies of Israel:   Egypt intends to host new talks between Palestinian factions for a limited ceasefire plan with Israel. Palestinian sources said Egypt has invited the ruling Fatah movement and the opposition Hamas to a meeting in Cairo next week. They said this will be the first session by Fatah, headed by Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat, and Hamas in the Egyptian capital since November

Enemies of Israel:   Iran Linked to Tel Aviv Terror Attack. Security establishment experts suspect that Iranian Revolutionary Guards operating in Lebanon were involved in the suicide bombing in Tel Aviv on January 6. The attack, in which 23 people were killed near the old central bus station, was carried out by two Fatah activists from Nablus

Worthy of Attention:   Israeli Court says that the State has right to try Barghouti. Israel has the jurisdiction to try Tanzim leader Marwan Barghouti for murder and terrorism, a panel of Tel Aviv District Court judges ruled Sunday. The ruling, read by presiding Judge Sarah Sirota, came as an expected rejection of Barghouti's claim that Israel has no right to try him [ This Muslim criminal pretends to establish the law of Israel according to his own demonic convenience ]

Worthy of Attention:   Anti-U.S. protests have resumed in Bahrain with thousands of people calling for an end to the American military presence in the kingdom

The World Against Israel:   UK union considers ban on Israeli musicians. Strenuous efforts are under way to defeat a resolution to ban Israeli musicians from appearing in Britain and British musicians from appearing in Israel, that is being debated in London today

The World Against Israel:   Two examples of bias against Israel: from the Boston Globe, and the Philadelphia Daily News

Israel " the NWO:   In an interview currently appearing on the Newsweek website, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon dismisses the importance of the quartet - the U.S., UN, EU and Russia - and suggested that another peace plan would resolve the condlict with the Palestinians than the one being proposed by the group of Mideast mediators. When asked what he thought of the quartet's peace plan, Sharon answered: "Oh, the quartet is nothing! Don't take it seriously! There is [another] plan that will work" [ The problem is that such is not what he believes or stands for. It was only spoken for pre-electoral consumption ]

Rumors of Wars:   Russia, under Israeli and U.S. pressure, appears to have reversed itself on plans to build a nuclear power plant in Syria

The Jordanians took samples from the wall for tests during their previous visit

Israel Without Yeshuah:   Israel or Palestine. Our Land or Theirs? Why does the Israeli government have to protect its citizens from themselves, when they want to pray at a Jewish holy site?

Israel Without Yeshuah:   Leak of PM Investigation Traced to State Prosecution Attorney. The investigation of the mysterious "leaker" of the allegations against Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in the height of the election campaign has brought fruit - and the leak was found to have been initiated by a senior official in the Tel Aviv District Prosecution office

Israel Without Yeshuah:   Israeli democracy faces latest in series of tests, as attorney-general weathers unprecedented criticism for interrogation of reporter who broke news of an affair that could threaten Prime Minister Ariel Sharon

Israel Without Yeshuah:   Three Likud activists were indicted yesterday for alleged corruption during the internal elections for the party's Knesset slate. In addition, the prosecution recently asked the police to fill in some additional details in their investigation of MK Naomi Blumenthal, a former deputy minister [ How sad it is for me to post this news about corruption in Israel! The traitors to their Messiah, are traitors to thier own nation and corruption ensues ]

Israel Without Yeshuah:   Campaign mudslinging goes into orbit. Labor said Sharon took advantage of political appointments in the Israel Broadcasting Authority to draft Israel's astronaut into his political campaign [ More concerned for dirty politics than for their holy nation ]

Israel Without Yeshuah:   Two Muslim terror suspects escape from detention camp. The Ofer detention camp was set up in March 2002 in order to deal with the hundreds of Muslim Palestinians suspected of terrorist activities arrested in the West Bank

War in Israel:   More Attacks and Miracles in Gaza. Muslim Terrorism in Gaza is increasing. The latest attack occurred late this morning when Muslim Palestinian terrorists fired an anti-tank rocket at a convoy of cars that left Netzarim. No one was hurt, and IDF soldiers returned fire. Cars travel to and from Netzarim only in scheduled convoys or with appropriate bullet-proof defenses

War in Israel:   In what may have been the largest attempted bombing in the history of anti-Israel terrorism, four Muslim Palestinian terrorists tried early yesterday evening to drive a car-bomb into Israel containing between 300 and 400 kilograms of explosives - but were thwarted in time

War in Israel:   North on alert after car bomb, Hizbullah attack. There were no casualties in either of the unrelated incidents, which raised security alerts in different parts of the North

Enemies of Israel:   Cairo talks to stop terror attacks back on as Hamas, Jihad agree to attend

The World Against Israel:   Canadian TV Journalist Schemes to Embarrass Israel's Prime Minister. A CBC's Mideast correspondent forges a plot to have Ariel Sharon show up to an empty banquet hall [ Who says that journalists are impartial? They respond to the interest of their father, Satan. No wonder they hate Israel and the Christians ]

The World Against Israel:   American voices calling for a Palestinian state are getting louder, and it's up to the government of Israel to take a strong stand. So says Dr. Yossi Ben-Aharon, former Director-General of Prime Minister Yitzchak Shamir's office and a man with much experience in Israeli-U.S. relations

Escorted by Israeli police cars, the soldiers have been traveling in hard-to-miss convoys near Tel Aviv. Signs in Nature:   Now, it gous up to 1,400 dead due to the continuing South Asian cold weather spell. Driven by Himalayan winds, a monthlong cold spell has resulted in more than 1,400 deaths in Bangladesh, Nepal and northern India, officials said Friday. At least 59 people died overnight in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, where the death toll since Dec. 20 now stands at 572, a state government official said. Another 60 have perished in India's eastern Bihar state. The Indian capital has experienced the coldest week in five years with the average daily minimum temperature dipping to 38 degrees. Such temperatures can be fatal in impoverished areas of South Asia, where millions live without heat, electricity or warm clothing in homes that lack insulation. Children and the elderly are the most vulnerable

Signs in Nature:   Brazil Mudslides Death Toll Rises. At least 33 people have died after mudslides triggered by torrential rains devastated homes and villages in south-east Brazil. Most of those who died were children, trapped inside flimsy huts that were simply swept away and buried under tons of wet earth

Signs in Nature:   Bananas may be on the road to extinction. The banana could be on the verge of extinction, claims new research. Scientists believe the world's most popular fruit could disappear within 10 years, unless it is rescued by biotechnology. Since edible bananas are sterile mutants, new varieties cannot easily be produced by natural methods. This leaves the banana open to attack by pests and diseases at plantations and farms in central America, Africa and Asia

Signs in Nature:   There are large holes in the Earth's magnetic field over the Atlantic and the Arctic, indicating that the north and south poles may be getting ready to reverse positions in a magnetic flip. This would produce a period of chaos, when compasses no longer point north, migrating animals head in the wrong direction and satellites are burned up by solar radiation. There have already been recent cases where migrating birds ended up in strange places, far from their regular destinations. The speed of the change has surprised scientists
[ Do not miss this article ]

Signs in Nature:   Alert over vanishing sharks. Several shark species have declined steeply in the north-west Atlantic over the last 15 years, scientists say. All recorded shark species, with the exception of makos, have declined by more than 50% in the past 8 to 15 years. With sharks high in the marine food chain, there is concern their fate may affect other creatures

Signs in Nature:   Scientists who have devoted their lives to studying the polar bears that rule the far north say evidence increasingly shows the white behemoths may diminish in numbers in the coming years and possibly disappear entirely within a century

Signs in Nature:   A National Academy of Sciences panel has concluded that strong evidence exists to show an "undoubtedly real" warming of Earth’s surface over the last 20 years — even if satellites and weather balloons show little or no warming five miles up

Signs of Plagues:   AIDS Hasn't Peaked Yet - and That's Not The Worst of It. Most of what we once thought we knew about global health has been proven wrong by the relentless advance of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria

Signs of Plagues:   Killer rats in the Western Cape, some said to be the size of full-grown cats, have been preying on Manenberg's poorest frail and sick people, gnawing at the limbs of bedridden victims living next to a rodent-infested canal

Increased Knowledge:   Snake-like robots may soon fight terrorism, save lives, and make repairs on everything from battleship engines to the human body. Sound like science fiction? New research is bringing these incredible possibilities closer to reality. A leading researcher behind this endeavor is Howie Choset, a mechanical engineer and roboticist at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His goal is to perfect what he calls the "snakebot"

Increased Knowledge:   A group of scientists has created an organism that produces an amino acid that no other living thing has ever used [ What this experiment proves is that in order to create a new organism, it is necessary the input of an external intelligence ]

Increased Knowledge:   Your Teeth Tell All. Better make friends with your dentist, because he knows all about you. By looking at your teeth, he can tell what's going on in your life and in the rest of your body. A good dentist can spot diseases like heart disease and diabetes in their early stages. They know if you have AIDS, osteoporosis or leukemia. And no matter how much you deny it, they know if you're under stress

Preparing the End:   Now some psychics are starting to say that Lucifer is the alien who geneticaly created humanity - again, through cloning. Aaron C. Donahue believes Lucifer has returned to take a remnant of his family out of harms way as the armies of the world blindly prepare for the nuclear destruction of their planet and themselves [ Yes, this is getting really wierd, guys. But this is a most read due to the important information in it. You will be amazed. Most people are willing to believe any travesty of the truth that any buffoon conceives and propagates in his rebellion against the Lord Jesus Christ, or any evil malarkey revealed to them by demons - an example of this is the theory of Evil-ution contrive by Darwin and others. Christians need to be in touch with the new wave of alien-connection arising in the world, understand it and know how to oppose ]
[ Do not miss this article ]

Preparing the End:   Raelians want to build a Jetsons-like "embassy" near Jerusalem where, Rael claims, humanity's E.T. forefathers will return to Earth in 2035 in a spaceship carrying the prophets of the major religions [ This deceptive exogenetic approach to our beginings will get momentum very soon. The Last Decepetion of Satan is just in front of our unprepared eyes. What today sounds weird, tomorrow will be the norm - and those of us who will oppose it will have to pay a heavy price for it. Are you ready? ]

Preparing the 'Great Last Deception':   Pierre-Paul Bourque is a "true believer" in the Raelian mouvement. He believes in friendly alien spaceships and extraterrestrial scientists who were "mistaken for gods" when they "cloned our forebears". And he believes in Rael, the former French sports writer who claims to be the "extraterrestrials'" voice on Earth and in charge of preparing the world for their return in 2035 (or perhaps sooner now that humans have themselves learned how to clone human beings). The "preparation" is by preaching peace, tolerance and sexual freedom. He says Raelians believe simply that individuals and couples should be "free" to work out their own sexual preferences and what they can tolerate in their partners' behavior. Some are celibate, some are gay, some are not, some are faithful to their partners, others have multiple partners. Mr. Bourque says that "there is just one thing holding the extraterrestrials back, the Raelians' inability to persuade the Israeli government to sell them a piece of land for an embassy near Jerusalem, declare it extraterrestrial territory and grant the extraterrestrials free passage through the airspace above it" [ Interesting isn't it? Why Israel? Why Jerusalem? ]

Preparing the End:   This is the false prophecy of a demon-possessed man, the false prophet Rael, who is sitting draped in pure white in a cinder-block building in a compound called UFOland. "Soon nano-robots will make salads and steaks from thin air. Artificial intelligence will end the need for money and labor. People will live long for love and pleasure. And humans will become immortal, cloning themselves and downloading their memories and personalities into hard drives, then into brand-new cloned teen bodies"

UFOs:   Space centre to screen 'proof of UFOs'. Images claiming to be proof of alien UFOs will be shown to members of the public at the National Space Centre later this month. Hundreds of the objects were captured on film by the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (Soho), a spacecraft a million miles from Earth observing the sun [ Included a photo of a UFO taken by NASA ]
[ Do not miss this article ]

UFOs:   A ufo expert from Winterbourne, near Bristol, says the latest flying saucer pictures captured by a NASA satellite prove beyond doubt that there are aliens in space. He says: "When we asked NASA about it, they originally said it might be a fault on the camera, but by digitally enhancing the images, we proved this wasn't the case. Then, NASA told us it could be asteroids or comets, but when we pointed out that the objects appeared to move independently and make turns, they stopped answering our questions" [ More of the above ]

UFOs:   Space centre to screen 'proof of disc-shaped UFO craft'. Startling images claimed to be proof of alien UFOs will be shown to members of the public at the National Space Centre later this month [ Yet some more ]

UFOs:   In the spring of 1966, in the midst of one of his government's biggest crises, Canadian prime minister Lester Pearson turned his attention to flying saucers

UFOs:   Unexplained magnetized objects have been removed from the bodies of close encounter witnesses by Dr. Roger Leir. Now we know that magnetism can be used to alter the mind, so maybe we're not far from understanding what the implants are doing inside abductees. It's also possible that the reversal of magnetism between the north and south poles, which is on the way, could affect the way our brains work—the same way it seems to be affecting migrating animals

UFOs:   The UFO Hunters. Meet the scientists who are serious about explaining strange flying phenomena

Somewhat suspicious:   Indian Scientists Baffled By ‘Blasts’ in Gujarat, India. Researcher following tests says: "Nobody is able to say whether it is a seismic phenomenon or is happening due to a chemical reaction under the earth" [ Could it be that somebody is building something underground? ]

Witchcraft & Satanism:   German Satanists 'ate babies'. From Roger Boyes in Berlin. Babies have been killed, sliced up and eaten by a German Satanist group, according to media reports yesterday, stirring fears that last month’s arrest of a self-confessed cannibal was not an isolated incident. The prosecutor’s office in Trier, near the border with Luxembourg, said that it had been investigating alleged cases of cannibalism and rape by Satanists since the middle of last year. That is six months before another case of cannibalism — the eating of a software designer by a former soldier — came to light

Just Interesting:   On any given day, Spook Hill will have its share of visitors who will roll oranges, balls, soda bottles - as well as their cars - along North 5th Street in Lake Wales, Florida, to see if they really do roll uphill. On any given Sunday afternoon, there may be 30 cars lined up at the white line stretched across the street to see for themselves if something can roll uphill on its own power [ I have been there, and it is really weird indeed. Next time I pass by I will bring a long level. But according to my senses, I saw many cars - including mine - going uphill. I think that whatever it is, is a natural phenomenom. What really is extremely spooky in that area is the famous Bok Tower. Despite of its beauty, the sense of pure evil there was overwhelming to my spirit ]

Telling It Like It Is:   A Mandarin church has alarmed Muslims by posting a roadside message that said Islam's founder, Mohammed, endorsed murder in the Quran. The Florida chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations yesterday asked members of the clergy to speak against the message at the First Conservative Baptist Church, 12021 St. Augustine Road. A sign there reads: "Jesus Forbade Murder Matthew 26-52. Muhammad Approved Murder Surah 8-65." A surah is a chapter in the Koran, Islam's scripture, which Muslims believe to be God's word in Arabic, but in reality is just a demon-inspired book of hate, deception and crime

Science for Evil:   HAARP Poses Global Threat. The use of the new geophysical weapon might lead to the global catastrophe. A lot of specialists and scientists believe that unpredictable natural disasters and several man-caused catastrophes that struck Europe and Asia in the summer of the year 2002 say that there might be certain global reasons that caused them all. The letter gives suggestions on how to lead a public prayer in a "pluralistic" society, and asks the clergy to "remember that included among our Senate familly are individuals who represent many different faiths and walks of life." Miller described the prayer as a Senate tradition dating back to colonial times, and said about 90% of the time a sold out-to-Satan clergy follow the request to be ecumenical. However, the Senate president asked the lawmakers to be tolerant and forgiving of those who get carried away by the moment "and the prayer they've learned since they were 17 comes out." Some Jewish members of the Senate complained last week to Miller that prayers - including one led by Sen. Larry E.
