" ( In the End Times ) You will hear of wars and rumors of wars.  See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.   For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.  And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.  All these are the beginning of sorrows."      ( Matthew 24:6-8 )

I know that some of these news sound somewhat far fetched, but they are true indeed.  The media, in general, takes the supernatural or conspiratorial off our eyes.  Remember, the enemies of the Lord claim the same concerning the realities described in the Bible.  The fact that something sounds weird does not mean that it is unreal at all.  After all, we are in the End Times and things will get even stranger and much more distasteful before the Lord comes to end it all and start a new, perfect and beautiful world.  What a wonderful Day that will be! I pray that you all are able to discern in these news the actual fulfillment of many prophecies which multiple generations of Christians longed for the honor to see... and live.

A relevant fact bearing repetition is that  the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) was formed in 1964, 3 years before Israel acquired the “occupied territories” in a defensive war. If Israel didn't have that land, then what was driving the Palestinians? What was the significance of the “L” in “PLO?” From what or whom were they seeking “liberation”?  [ Answer for dummies: from all the territory “occupied” by Israel since 1948 ] The best place to find the answer is the PLO's charter, where their grievances and goals are clearly articulated [ Read them here ] I happen to think it's abundantly obvious that abortion is wrong, but many don't agree. Paradoxically, sometimes people (even a majority) are blind to the obvious –and so it needs to be said. The Muslim Palestinian and Arab's main beef with Israel is not her “occupation” of the West Bank and Gaza, but Israel's very right to exist. We keep hearing that Israel is not shown on Palestinian maps and that the Palestinians teach their children that Israel is illegitimate. So their position that their right to self-determination is impossible as long as Israel exists –is obvious, right? [ Certainly not for some badly-intentioned elements of a world that has lost its dignity ]

The World Against Israel: How do you say 'media-bias' in Hebrew? In a recent lead of a Page 1, above-the-fold story, the 'Washington Post' stunningly announced that Israeli forces were pulling out of 2 "conquered" West Bank towns. Conquered?! Is the Post's bias so thoroughly ingrained that it can nonchalantly bandy about brazen words uttered only by fierce Palestinian partisans? Going town-by-town in the disputed territories to dismantle Arafat's terrorist infrastructure in a defensive effort can hardly be considered in the ilk of Spanish conquistadors plundering to acquire new land. Perhaps this biased blunder would be forgivable if the 'Post' had been otherwise fair in reporting the Mideast crisis, but it hasn't been. Since the start of Israel's military actions, the 'Post' has run more than 50 supposedly "objective" news stories labeling the operation an "offensive." Pardon the pun, but to dub defensive actions designed to protect innocent civilian lives as an "offensive" is utterly offensive. Why is it, then, that the 'Post' –and the rest of media prostituted organizations– compulsively feel the need to classify Israel's actions as an "offensive"? After 9/11, no mainstream American media outlet dared to portray America's retaliatory strikes against al Qaeda as aggressive, so why the double standard for Israel?

After almost two weeks of "Jenin Massacre!" headlines, the world press has been forced to face the truth: There was none. Journalist David Bedein of 'Israel Resource News Agency' reports that since Sunday, when the IDF began allowing reporters into Jenin, the real story has turned out to be somewhat less dramatic than that which some of them had been reporting

Truth about Israeli casualties is being ignored in this war. Reading the British press last week, watching the BBC and listening to European politicians reminded one of those lines by TS Eliot: "The rats are underneath the piles / The Jew is underneath the lot." What other explanation for the malevolent reporting of Israel's attempt to root out terrorists on the West Bank?
[ Jewish World Review — USA ]

Correspondent Haggai Huberman unfolds a gruesome story of how Palestinian terrorists are willing to dispose of their children's lives in the service of their murderous designs. The IDF learned the details when it questioned a 14-year-old Bethlehem girl, Shirin Rabia, when the forces first entered the city earlier this month. The girl confirmed that she had planned to commit a suicide attack, at the behest of her own uncle, Tanzim senior Yihye Da'amse

Palmach Ze'evi, son of PA-terrorism victim Tourism Minister Rehavam Ze'evi explained bitingly why 'transfer' is the only solution to the present conflict: "Two nations cannot live on this Promised Land; one of them will have to give up its place, totally, in favor of the other; otherwise, we are inviting a perpetual bloodbath. The establishment of the State (of Israel) 54 years ago seemed then to be even less practical and realistic than the 'transfer' idea seems now: a small unarmed people against all the Arab nations and armies. But, we did it anyway" [ Hooray, Palmach! ]

The true gem of Colin Powell´s excursion to the Middle East is that he showed the world, without a doubt, that Yassir Arafat has no interest in peace at all. He also showed that the heads of state in the region are hopelessly anti-Israel and the rhetoric flowing from Middle Eastern capitals is hardly promoting any type of peace in the area. If the US had stayed home, Yassir Arafat and his coalition of dictators would have looked like heroes, as they called for peace on one hand and supported terrorism on the other

Stop degrading Israel's independence. An 'Open Letter' to the President of the United States [ A good political letter with the huge defect –proper to a rabbi– of not differentiating real Christian ideology from Catholic ideology. Israel Without Yeshuah: The Jewish people wait for the Messiah scratching the truth but still not quite getting it. But soon thy will according to Zechariah 12:8-10 " In that day the LORD will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the LORD before them. It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they have pierced; they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn"

In the Middle East, "zero tolerance for terrorism" becomes "infinite patience with evil" in pursuit of an illusory peace. Getting Arafat to disavow terrorism is like going to Al Capone after the St. Valentine's Day Massacre and asking him to sign a gun-control petition

The World Against Israel: Israel is facing the threat of an arms embargo by the European Union. Several EU countries have relayed warnings that they would halt military supplies to Israel unless it ends the military campaign in the West Bank. They said the EU will debate proposals for an embargo on Israel concerning all products that could be used in the war against the Palestinian Authority. So far, Belgium, Britain, France, Germany and Italy are said to be considering a weapons embargo against Israel. Belgium is a supplier of light weapons for security forces. Industry sources said such countries as Britain and Germany have already slowed down or halted the export of weapons or components to Israel. This has included equipment for Israel's Merkava Mk-4 main battle tank

Israel   the NWO: While US Secretary of State Colin Powell left Israel with no concrete agreement ending the 18 months of bloody Israeli-Palestinian violence, the Spanish EU presidency stepped up efforts to bring all foreign ministers in the Mediterranean area together at the 5th Euro-Mediterranean Conference, (EuroMed) on Monday 22. April in Valencia, Spain. Speaking at a press conference, the President of the EU Council, Josep Piqué, has said that “at this time” it is confirmed that “virtually all” the Foreign Ministers of the countries bordering the Mediterranean will be attending, including Israeli Foreign Minister Simon Peres and his Palestinian counterpart Nabil Shaath, as well as the Egyptian and Lebanese Ministers

Israel   the NWO: Norwegian UN envoy Terje Larsen's long-running and open feud with the State of Israel continues. Yesterday, Larsen called the scenes in the Jenin ex-terrorist camp "horrific," and sharply condemned Israel for its actions there and for "not granting medical aid to the victims." Israel   the NWO: UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan appealed Thursday for a "robust" armed international force to halt the escalating Israeli-Palestinian conflict but Israel said no and the U.S. said any Mideast solution must have the support of both parties [ The U.N. would love to dismantle Israel. How can this blatantly sinister and biased organization work for peace there? ]
[ Jerusalem Post — Israel ]

Last month, the U.N. finally decided that a Palestinian State is a good idea. Now where might we have heard this before? Back in 1947, a State of Palestine also sounded good to the members of that august assembly. So good, in fact, that they decided to partition the British Mandate of Palestine, or what was left of it after Trans-Jordan had been detached, into two countries, with roughly equal portions going to Jews and Arabs. Within that resolution was the framework for self-determination of the two peoples who occupied the land. Acceptance by the Arabs of Palestine would have ensured them a homeland, security and access to all their holy sites. Yet the Palestinian Arabs refused it then and, despite the solicitations of the United Nations and other international bodies, have refused it ever since

President Moshe Katzav leveled charges today at Christian leaders who pressure Israel to end the standoff, instead of expressing outrage at the Moslems who are desecrating the holy site. It is obvious that the Christians' mute response to this desecration is out of fear of Moslem reprisal. That is certainly the reason for the Pope's and other Christian leaders' incredible silence in the face of this obvious religious desecration [ The majority of the so-called "Christian leaders" are in the business of having many follower, making money and living the "good life" –they are not interested in going "politically incorrect" or stand in front of evil, calling it by its name and having to pay a heavy prize for it. Operation Defensive Shield continues quietly, and another "important" wanted terrorist was captured today: Husan Ali Badaran, head of Hamas' military wing in the Shomron. Ariel Sharon has repeatedly stated that his armies will eventually withdraw from the West Bank, and that Israel does not intend to remain in control of Palestinian territory "for any length of time." This is a crucial mistake, because it is vital for Israel's victory in its war of survival –and for whatever is left of America's battle against terrorism– that Israel establish permanent control over the West Bank, renewing its "occupation" of the so-called "Palestinian territory"

The 10-year-old child-homicide-bobmber exploded and killed the Israeli soldiers, too. It's this kind of immorality –repeated a thousand times a day in Yasser Arafat's territories– that makes Palestinian statehood a bloody awful idea. It's not only a threat to Israeli security –the argument we hear repeatedly from media pundits– it would also ensure that future generations of Palestinian children will be victimized in this manner. More will be indoctrinated from birth to be martyrs. More will be taught that Jews are evil. More will be taught the virtues of hatred

The Palestinians are suffering due to Palestinian Authority Health Minister Riyad Za'anoun's 'political decision' at the beginning of the 2nd. intifada not to permit cooperation with Israel's health experts –despite strong opposition to this policy among Palestinian health professionals, according to the IDF and Israeli Health Ministry officials. Israeli health experts have been and are willing to help Palestinian health professional regarding pharmaceuticals, infectious disease, and other public health matters, but they were turned down by Za'anoun. The PA regards Israel as an enemy, so they refuse to accept direct Israeli assistance [ This demon-possessed Muslim barbarians are the worst disaster that has ever happened to Palestinians and Israelis alike. Jenin: An Israeli "masacre" of Palestinians ... or a media masacre of the truth?. Israeli President, Moshe Katsav, lashed out yesterday at those who have rebuked Israel for retaliatory actions against terrorism. "We have the right to self-defense, and no-one has the right to condemn us because we want to defend our citizens. No one anywhere else in the world would tolerate such brutal bloodshed without striking back," said Katsav, noting that Israel had first done everything possible to stop the escalation of violence, which instead had worsened from day to day, claiming women, children, and the elderly

There's no getting around the fact that the ongoing spasm of Israeli-Palestinian violence is the logical conclusion of Arafat's dual policy of talking about peace while preparing for war. Sent to calm the Middle East storm and let the Bush administration complete its war plans against Iraq undisturbed, Powell leaves behind a furious caldron. Why the change in Bush's attitude? Among other things because the U.S. has been given the documentary evidence discovered by Israel during its raids on Arafat's headquarters that establish Yasser Arafat oversaw and financed the terror war against Israel. The evidence shows that elements of the Palestinian office of preventive security, which the U.S. has backed as a way to enhance the authority of moderate Palestinians and head off terrorist attacks, are also linked to suicide bombings. Israel also charged that mortars and heavy machine guns, as well as yarmulkas and other disguises for suicide bombers, were found in the headquarters of Jabril Rajoub, head of the 'Palestinian Security Services'

'Nativity Church' standoff continues. Negotiations over the Church of the Nativity standoff in Bethlehem will not resume today, as a hoped-for meeting will not take place. The PA Governor of Bethlehem was one of those who was to have taken part in a meeting with IDF representatives today, but because of the extent of the disagreement, it was decided that there would be no point to holding the meeting [ IDF should raid that building. What is more important to you, the clinic where you were born or the benefit and security of your family? So is for the Lord. That is just a building. While searching the 'Omar Mosque' in Bethlehem yesterday, the IDF discovered a powerful bomb. The IDF spokesman stated that the bomb was placed there to injure security forces [ Muslims Palestinian use their mosques as military headquarters, their ambulances as military trucks and their civilians –of any age and gender– as paramilitary troops against Israeli military personnel and innocent civilians alike. That is why it was necessary the harsh response from the IDF against all of them. Civilians are civilians not because they do not ware uniform, but because they do not act militarily. Residents of the village of Beit Fajar are braving the curfew to visit Khalil Takatka, to congratulate him on the "martyrdom" of his 20-year-old daughter Andaleeb, who blew herself to pieces in a suicide attack in Jerusalem, killing 6 other people. In front of Andaleeb's house, 3 girls aged 5 to 9 were waiting. Heavy gunfire rocked the sacred Church of the Nativity last night, as Colin L. Powell prepared to leave the Middle East without negotiating a cease-fire or winning Israel's withdrawal from the West Bank
[ Washington Times — USA ]

Colin Powell wrapped up a 10-day visit to the Middle East with a press conference in Jerusalem's David Citadel Hotel. Powell was unable to get Israel and the Palestinians to agree to a cease-fire, which he said is impossible to achieve while the IDF remains in the West Bank. He said the Palestinians argue they can't crack down on militants while their security apparatus isn't able to function in the face of the Israeli incursions [ But when they had all the opportunity to do so, what they only did was to organize and carry on with as many as possible Israeli civilian assassinations with the clear intent of a real genocide. 'Dhimmis' for dummies. For Muslims, the world is divided into the dar al-Harb, land controlled by non-Muslims that forms the "territory of war," and the dar al-Islam, the land where Islamic law prevails. "Historically, a peace is not a peace –and a time of peace longer than a decade is occasion not for relaxation but for feeling inadequate and fidgety. Infidels should never be allowed to rest on their laurels," famed 14th century Muslim jurist Ibn Taymiyya asserted, "for any land they possess is held illegitimately." Israel Without Yeshuah: A Dahaf poll taken this month among Israeli high school students found that 78% of the Jewish students plan to serve in the IDF, and of those, 55% want to serve in combat units. Impressive. But the same poll found that only a slim majority of Jewish students (54%) were confident that Israel 'definitely will' exist in 50 years, while 32% 'thought it will', and a further 8% thought or were sure that Israel will not survive that long. Among Israeli-Arab high school students the results were even more striking: 54% either thought or were sure that Israel would not exist in half a century ( Democracy in Israel may turn out to be a historic accident, a brief parenthesis that could be closing before our very eyes, because it is the first civilization in history to blame itself, because another power was seeking to destroy it. Democracy is not only deeply convinced of the rightness of its own defeat, but that it should regale its friends and foes with reasons why defending itself would be immoral and, in any event, superfluous ... even dangerous. Democracy risks defeat when it begins to doubt the justice of its own cause )

The Bush administration is being urged to launch a vigorous campaign, that could include military attacks against Middle East countries deemed sponsors of terrorism. A report by the Heritage Foundation said the U.S. should demand international cooperation against terrorism and state sponsors. The U.S.-led campaign should include diplomatic, economic, law enforcement and military tools. Targets of the U.S.-led effort must be Iran, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, and Syria, researcher James Phillips said in the report. Other targets should include the Al Qaida network, Algeria's Armed Islamic Group, Hamas, Hizbullah and Islamic Jihad. The Al Qaida network has relocated from Afghanistan to such countries as Somalia, Yemen, the Philippines, and Sudan. The report said these countries should be a focus for U.S. attacks on Al Qaida

The new warning came amid a flurry of diplomatic activity aimed at improving relations with South Korea and the U.S.

Signs in Nature: The Earth's magnetic poles might be starting to flip say researchers who have seen strange anomalies in our planet's magnetic field. The magnetic field is created by the flow of molten iron inside the Earth's core. These circulation patterns are affected by the planet's rotation, so the field normally aligns with the Earth's axis –forming the north and south poles

Signs in Nature: U.S. and Brazilian researchers say the amount of carbon dioxide coming off streams, rivers and flooded areas of the world’s tropical forests is triple that of some currently accepted estimates, meaning such forests aren’t the carbon sponges some scientists believe. The new total of 900 million metric tons (about 2 trillion pounds) of carbon given off globally by tropical-forest waterways is comparable to, for example, about a fifth of the carbon dioxide generated each year by human activities such as deforestation and burning fossil fuels

Signs in Nature: Trees are not going to solve global warming. Forests will be less effective at slowing climate change than scientists thought, because they'll mop up less carbon dioxide than expected. That verdict follows a 4-year experiment to see how much CO2 trees will absorb from the atmosphere when pollution has raised levels of the gas. The results should hammer home the message that the world can't rely on trees to solve the problem of CO2 emissions

Signs in Nature: Farming in and around forests hurts bird populations more than does timber harvesting, according to a study by a researcher at Ohio State University. The study suggests that farming may make bird nests more vulnerable to predation by squirrels and other animals. Amanda D. Rodewald, assistant professor of wildlife ecology in the School of Natural Resources, also found that forests with agricultural clearings in them had a lower diversity of bird species and fewer birds than forests in which pockets of tree cover had been cleared by timber harvesting

Signs in Nature: Conservationists have accused the timber industry of squandering the biological wealth of Tasmania's forests. They say that land clearance rates across Australia are as high as those in poor tropical countries. Outside nature reserves, the campaigners say, logging is not sustainably managed. And they fear for the survival of some of the unique species still found in the island's forests

Signs in Nature: Pesticides developed in the hope that they may be safer than older chemicals known to cause cancer may be only slightly better, researchers said yesterday. They found the compounds, used to protect crops such as pecans, potatoes and sugar beets, as well as protect boats and wood, can damage cells that seek out and destroy microbes and cancer cells. A one-hour exposure to one of the chemicals, triphenyltin, reduces the tumor-killing ability of natural killer cells by 50 to 60 percent

Signs in Nature: Orange County, Ca. health officials indefinitely closed nearly half a mile of Huntington State Beach's shore Tuesday after finding frequent, puzzling spikes in bacteria levels. The cause remains unknown, though state and county officials suspect beach bathrooms may be leaking human waste into the surf. Officials could not say how long the beach will be closed but warned it will be longer than the closures commonly caused by sewage spills

Signs of Plagues: Meningococcal disease in the African 'Meningitis Belt'. The highest burden of this disease occurs in sub-Saharan Africa in an area that is referred to as the meningitis belt. This is the area between Senegal and Ethiopia and includes all or part of at least 15 countries, with an estimated total population of approximately 300 million

Signs of Plagues: 'Crazy Ants' are devouring the famous migrating land crabs of Australia's Christmas Island and may have killed off up to 1/2 the crab population in the past few years. Crazy or long-legged ant infestations exploded into 'super colonies' about 5 years ago and the acid-squirting ants now dominate 1/4 of Christmas Island's rainforest
