The Israelite Origins of the Khazars. One of the big claims of anti-Semites and some pseudo-historians is that modern-day Jews are not descended from the Jews of the Bible because in the 7th century, a tribe of Turko-Asiatic people converted on mass to Judaism and thus, "Jews have no claim to modern Palestine, as there is no direct linkage between modern Jews and the Jews who inhabited the Holy Land two millennia ago." This means, these people claim, the Jews have no right to claim any rights to the "Biblical Land of Israel". Reality is that the Khazar tribe is not Turkish in origin, but of Israelite origin being comprised of the remnants of the tribes of Simeon, Manasseh and Ephraim
Public Security Minister Tzachi HaNegbi announced in the Knesset last night that, "soon, very soon," Jews would be permitted once again to visit the Temple Mount. He said that Jews would be allowed to "pray individually" at the holy site, in accordance with the status quo between 1967 and 2000

Muslim Palestinians Say the Decision to Allow Jews on Temple Mount is a "Desecration". Both the Palestinian Authority and the director of the Muslim Waqf, Adnan Husseini, condemned Public Security Minister Tzachi Hanegbi's comment that the Temple Mount would soon be opened to Jews for visits and prayers. Responding to the comments made by Minister Hanegbi on Wednesday, Saeb Erekat, the Minister for Palestinian Negotiation Affairs, said that the decision "constitutes a dangerous aggravation and is totally rejected". Erekat invited the international community to intervene immediately "in order to stop Israel's sought decisions that have detrimental consequences". In an interview with al-Jazeera TV, Sheikh Akrama Sabri, Mufti of the Holy Land and Preacher of Al Aqsa Mosque, said that the decision is a "desecration of Muslim holy sites and will have serious implications. In a speech before the Knesset on Wednesday, Hanegbi said: "the site will be open regardless of whether an agreement is reached with the Muslim Waqf [ Since Muslims are not going to ever see Jews and Christian in the Temple are as good, Israel should kick them out of such sacred area completely and for ever. If they want to cry about, then give them a good reason to cry about. These usurpers do not belong there, but in the satanically-controlled territory of Mecca in the hellish sands of Saudi Arabia. Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom told a visiting European Union delegation on Tuesday that Israel was considering applying for membership of the bloc [ Who taught Geography to Sharon? "'Woe to the rebellious children', says the LORD, 'who take counsel, but not of Me, and who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, that they may add sin to sin; those who walk to go down to Egypt, and have not asked My advice, to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! Yesha Council and EU meet. In a first-of-its-kind meeting between the Yesha Council and the European Union, it was agreed that a delegation of the latter would tour the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria
Anti-Terror "Leaders" Restrain Each Other Instead of the Muslim Terrorists. The White House has said it hopes the postponed visit by Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon in response to the latest spiral of Muslim Palestinian terror will take place within days. President George W. Bush clearly wants to see Sharon as soon as possible. Israel’s postponement and US urgency by a certain conflict of immediate goals: Bush is in trouble with his global "war on terror" following al Qaeda’s deadly strikes in Riyadh and Casablanca. He thinks Sharon’s visit to Washington can help allay some of the pressure on him. However, Sharon is also in trouble with his counter-terror war against Yasser Arafat and prefers to stay at home
Israel tells Bush that now is not time for Road Map monitors. In light of the wave of Muslim terrorism and the failure of the Muslim Palestinian Authority to take action against the Muslim terrorist infrastructure, Israel has passed a message on to Washington that this is not the right time to send a road map monitoring team to the region. The Roots of Islamic Extremism. There is another aspect of Arab and Muslim life in Israel and the occupied territories that goes unmentioned in the Western media: Israel does not interfere with the Muslim religion. It does not prevent the call to prayer from being heard, nor does it obstruct the teaching and practice of Islam. Under the tenets of traditional Islam, therefore, Muslims should not object to being citizens of Israel. Recognition of this fact was the basis for granting full citizenship to Israeli Arabs, and it is also the foundation of Arab participation in Israeli elections. Israeli Arabs have the right to elect their representatives freely — a right uniformly absent from the rest of the Arab world. Palestinian terrorism exists because it is in the interest of corrupt and oppressive regimes — mainly Iraq and Saudi Arabia, but also Syria — for it to exist. The Palestinian cause diverts the attention of Muslim Arabs living under tyrannical misrule from protest against their own governments. While Israel’s leaders may be worthy of criticism, they are not alone in responsibility for Palestinian anger. The rise of Hamas, the Palestinian fundamentalist Islamist movement, was in great part stimulated by the Palestinians’ disgust with the extortion, torture, murder, censorship, and other abuses afflicted on them by Yasir Arafat. Islamist extremism exists because of the desire of corrupt and oppressive rulers to maintain themselves in power [ To tell the truth like it is: Islam is criminally extremist due to the nature of such evil religion as estated in the satanically-inspired Koran ]
The Israeli Government voted to accept the Road Map plan today, recognizing a Palestinian state for the first time. He said that the reservations included in today's resolution represent Israel's "red lines." In this morning's Yediot Acharonot newspaper, however, he was quoted as singing a slightly different tune: "It's time to divide the land" [ This evil leaders of Israel consciously ignore that the Lord has clearly said that "when they say, "peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape " 1 Thessalonians 5:3. How blind can Israel be? How much longer to finally open their eyes and see that only the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob can save them from their Satan-led enemies, and not any foreing power or peace agreement? ]
Prime Minister Ariel Sharon told the cabinet Sunday during deliberations over the American-backed road map that Israel needs to accept the peace initiative in order to improve the failing economy. The plan is expected to win narrow approval despite threats by the right-wing National Union party and National Religious Party to vote against it. Sharon also said that Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will vote against the plan
As the political drama unfolded in the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem, a different one was taking place on Tel Aviv's financial markets. Yesterday morning's headlines quoting Prime Minister Ariel Sharon saying the time had come to divide the land, added to the strength the shekel gained on Friday, prepared the stock exchange for a positive reaction. Indeed, the shekel continued to trek northward and turnover was also particularly high, at NIS 700 million. Leading indices ended the day up 7%, while shekel-denominated bonds gained 2.5%. The Maof-25 blue chip index closed on 407 points, an amazingly strong 7.2% gain [ This is one of the practical causes of the Israeli prostitution in accepting the evil 'road map' ]
Veteran settlement movement figure and former MK Elyakim Haetzni, responding to an opinion poll showing a majority of Israelis in favor of the road map peace plan, Monday compared supporters of the peace plan with the Holocaust-era Jews that he said "willingly boarded those trains [to the Nazi concentration camps], believing everything that the Germans told them" [ Because of their blind, disobedient and hardened heart toward God and His Mashiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ) the people of Israel always forget and never learn what they should for their very own benefit ]
Ministerial Comments On The Vote. Prime Minister Sharon himself hypocritically, sold out to New World Order interests, said that today was a "difficult" day for him, and that the choice was between "the least of the evils" [ The suspicion of treason has finally been clarified ]

Speaking at a rally marking three years since Israel withdrew from south Lebanon, Hezbollah chief Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah said Sunday that armed resistance was the only viable weapon against occupation, and the Lebanese experience in the south could be repeated elsewhere in the region. Syrian and Iranian-backed Hezbollah guerrillas said that they would not lay down their arms, despite growing U.S. pressure on Damascus to clamp down on the Shi'ite Muslim group. Nasrallah urged fellow Arabs in Iraq and the Palestinian territories to take up arms and drive "occupation" forces off their land

While Israel's cabinet voted to support the evil Bush-backed Road Map to peace, its acceptance came with a list of serious "reservations" leaked to the press by Israeli officials. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon called the 14 conditions "red lines beyond which we cannot and will not withdraw"
The imperialist-minded Bush administration has prepared a list of sanctions against Israel should it refuse to comply with a plan for a Muslim Palestinian state by the end of the year [ Sanctioning Israel? Don't you think that such would be the last straw in our national adulterous relationship with God? Have you thought about the consequences for this? Do you still think that Bush is a real Christian or have you already realized that is just one of the most important moles of Satan in America? ]
An Israeli cabinet member who calls the U.S.-backed Road Map a disaster for Israel is courageously proposing an alternative path to peace that recognizes Jordan as the true Palestinian state and Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank and Gaza [ Now, that is the only real peace plan that would bring a solution to the Muslim Arab-Israeli struggle. Certainly, it would cost a war, but war is in the future anyhow. That war should be won a la 1967 and better yet. Without breaking the evil will of Muslim Arabs, peace does not have a chance ]
Tourism Minister Benny Elon of the right-wing National Union Party has proposed an alternative peace plan to the US formulated Road Map on Wednesday, which calls for resettling Palestinian refugees in Arab countries and considering Jordan as Palestine [ More of the same above ]
Abu Mazen to Haaretz says: "We won't relinquish the 'right' of return". The Muslim Palestinian PM says refugee issue is for final-status negotiations, wants 'absolute calm' from Hamas - not just a hudna, or Islamic truce [ Do you get it? They do not want any Israeli living at all in the Israel territory wrongly-called "Palestinian territories", but they demand Muslim Palestinians living for ever inside the zones that — for now — they concede are Israel's. Their strategy is too visible. The complete expulsion of every Muslim Arab from the biblical Holy Land of Israel is the only way to stop the constant encrouching of Israel and her ultimate destruction at the hands of these evil demon-worshiping savages ]
Abbas sys that the Bush administration told him to ignore Israeli map reservations [ Hello! Do you still believe that Bush is a friend of Israel and a real Christian? Come on, the alarm clock is sound loud ]
Bush to Attend Separate Summits in Sharm and Aqaba. US President George W. Bush is scheduled to meet Arab and Israeli leaders in two summits next week in a bid to reinvigorate Middle East peacemaking
IDF halted a necessary large military operation in Muslim territories due to the evil Road Map decision
More than 60 years since the first "death train" filled with Jews left Belgium for the gas chambers of Auschwitz, an unprecedented investigation into the Belgian authorities' complicity in the final solution is to be carried out [ But since the shamelessness of the Belgium government is proverbial, they still insist in their evil goal to destroy, or at least mortify Jews and Israel as much as they can with that illegal, sovereingty discounter tribunal which should be occupy with the many inner problems of Belgium. If they want to try someone try the Belgium families that inherit so much blood money stolen from the enslavemnet that Belgium criminally exerted over millions of people in Africa. Those who have thin glassy roofs should never throw rocks ]
Israelis are unsure of what to make of the 'new' Ariel Sharon. For decades Ariel Sharon was the hero of Israeli nationalists, pushing the construction of Jewish settlements in the West Bank and Gaza and blocking efforts to give the Palestinians land. But the Israeli prime minister's conditional acceptance of a U.S.-backed peace plan and his declaration that "occupation" must end has left many Israelis puzzling over the ex-general's motives - and questioning whether he has changed his mind or just his tactics [ Like I have said many times here, Sharon is a treacherous mole of the NWO elite for Israel. He and Shimon Peres are one and the same — just as Bush and Clinton are the same here, just as the Labor and Likud parties in Israel are the same (you can call them Likor or Labud), just as in America the Republican and Democrat parties (Republicrats) are one and the same. Their differences are just a different color and flavor added for gullibles consumption' sake. But, when the rubber meets the road, reality arises, and then ... they come out of the closet as what they really are: instruments of Satan for his long sought goal of the New Wolrd Order, the Reign of the Antichrist over a fooled humanity ]

Alarm raised on world's disappearing languages. A comparison of the factors affecting the loss of languages and the demise of wild animals has found that the world's 6,000-plus tongues are facing the biggest risk of extinction. Linguists estimate that there are 6,809 "living" languages in the world today, but 90% of them are spoken by fewer than 100,000 people, and some languages are even rarer – 46 are known to have just one native speaker. There are 357 languages with under 50 speakers. Over the past 500 years, about 4.5% of the total number of described languages have disappeared, compared with 1.3% of birds and 1.9% of mammals. Colonisation has had the strongest influence. Of the 176 living languages spoken by the tribes of North America, 52 have become extinct since 1600. Of the 235 languages spoken by the Aboriginal Australians, 31 have disappeared

The film 'The Matrix Reloaded' - the sequel to the 1999 blockbuster 'The Matrix', and number two in a trilogy of films - has excited philosophers, clerics and theologians who found the original science fiction film rich in spiritual meaning. Among the dozens of authors inspired by the theme of The Matrix - that humans live in a world that’s an illusion, manipulated by forces beyond our control - is Jake Horsley. His book, 'Matrix Warrior: Being the One', doesn't suggest that evil computers actually pump virtual reality directly into our brains. He explains that his book is a "thought experiment" based on the notion that this reality is, in fact, a dream world [ Paradoxically, the real world - meaning the spirit world - is the one we cannot perceive through our five (very limited) physical senses. On the other hand, this material world, that our senses constantly register, is the direct result of the voiced command of God "Let there be..." and it is formed by subatomic particles like the electron, which is defined as "a mathematical wave of probability". Such definition clarifies for us the fact that our physically conforming energetic particules are not something as concrete or substantial as to make our sensorially perceived "reality" stand for itself as something objectively real. The energy permeating every aspect of our material universe is a susbtract of the original Divine Creative Energy of God. The sense of solidity, smells, colors, etc. are just electrochemical illusions created in our brains as complex responses to some external energetical impulses perceived by the electrochemically sensitive receptors of our bodies. Modern science has found that, for example, the world has no colors whatsoever and that nothing is solid at all. And all this is pure science corroborating that only the spiritual realm is real and worth of setting on it our primary attention ]

Global health chiefs have urged countries around the world to be on alert for new killer diseases. The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that new diseases could spread in the wake of the deadly Sars virus. Officials have urged governments to work more closely together to try to deal with the threat. The call was made at the WHO's annual assembly of its 192 member states in Geneva on Monday
The Central Intelligence Agency predicted more than three years ago that increased international air travel, trade, and tourism would dramatically increase the spread of infectious diseases around the world, and that governments might try to hide the outbreaks for fear of economic losses. On September 15, 1991, live video showing multiple objects moving in unusual trajectories was captured by cameras aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery (STS-48). The video, which was being broadcast over NASA Select TV, was recorded by Mr. Donald Ratsch. Later, after rewinding and viewing the tape for the first time, Mr. Ratsch observed what he believed to be four anomalous events. One of those events was recorded by a camera in the shuttle's payload bay between 20:30 and 20:45 GMT near the west coast of Australia. The event involves perhaps as many as a dozen objects moving in different directions relative to the spacecraft. One of the objects, which has been referred to as the 'target', appears at a point near the horizon and moves in a path that seems to follow the horizon. After a flash the target, along with several other objects, abruptly change direction and speed. This is followed a few seconds later by a streak that moves rapidly across the field of view towards the target. At the end of the event, the camera pitches down revealing several objects moving below the shuttle. One of the objects appears to have a triangular shape. After careful analysis, the NASA's "ice particle and attitude thruster firing" hypothesis is not consistent with the observed behavior of all of the objects in question [ This excellent article is several pages long with videos, photos and graphics ]

The library's collection includes more than 18 million books. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency says in its documents that it is trying to design software that could access and analyze an unprecedented amount of data, ``measured in petabytes.'' In computer jargon, a byte is what it takes electronically to represent one letter of the alphabet. A petabyte is a quadrillion, or 1,000,000,000,000,000, bytes. Most personal computers now come with storage space for two to 20 gigabytes of information. A petabyte is 1 million times larger than a gigabyte. Deep in Universe Lurks Beautiful, Mysterious Numbers. The mystical aura long attributed to numbers has propelled several tomes about mathematics to the top of readers' book piles - fictional and most of all non-fictional. Why the world seems to operate according to mathematical laws? [ Because the universe responds to the reasoning control of an intelligent entity we call God and not to dumb chance like evil-utionists try to make us swallow ]
Science admits that the Universe is mathematically fine-tuned ergo, intelligently for life . Put together from values important to both Special Relativity and Quantum Mechanics, the number Alpha is suspected by some physicists to be a key to the long-sought Theory of Everything. The secret of the Universe is why Alpha is one-137th and not, say, one-136th or one-138th. Calculations indicate that if number Alpha were slightly different, stars would not exist to produce elements and there would be no life! Other constants appear to be just as finicky. If a number called Omega, a measure of the density of matter in the universe, teetered one way, the Big Bang would have fizzled; if it teetered the other way, all matter would have rapidly diffused into a rarefied sterile gas. The notion that emerges is not so different from one embraced by numerous physicists and mathematicians today: God is a mathematician and the Universe experienced by the senses is a shadow play of a deeper reality, the hidden realm of numbers . A team of scientists that includes a University of Florida physicist has suggested that two of the biggest mysteries in particle physics and astrophysics—the existence of extra time and space dimensions and the composition of an invisible cosmic substance called dark matter—may be connected [ The issue of extra dimensions has always been distasteful in the mouth of evil-utionists because it proves that the extradimensional spirit world can be a reality which they are not willing to accept at all. Tying it to the Dark Matter put is even closer to be empirically proven. What a bad time they must be having these antiscientists, fierce enemies of finding any truth they don't like ]
In 1999 the impact the "cyberpunk parable" The Matrix had in pop culture gave the Christian message a renewed attention to some fringe parts of society - something impossible through regular religious channels. All of a sudden the last big pulpit in town became the movie theatre. Did the directors intend to make it that way? I don't think so. But God's hand was in it - it was a "revelation" for those who have ears to hear what the Lord has to say to this freak age. It was also an opportunity that some churches and evangelists lost to establish a parabolic bridge to those who normally would reject our best intended salutation. The Matrix Reloaded has some good elements concerning fate, destiny and predestination to be used for such purpose, but it is not by far what the first one was [ Test all things; hold fast what is good 1 Thessalonians 5:21 ]

SARS from outer space? Consider the theory's source. Dr. Wickramasinghe, together with the late Sir Fred Hoyle, has argued for decades that diseases come from outer space. This is just one component of their further-reaching hypothesis that all life on Earth came from outer space, an idea called 'panspermia' [ or exogenesis ] that dates back to the 19th century. As part of this theory, Wickramasinghe and Hoyle have argued that some epidemic diseases defy the usual mechanisms of disease transmission and can only be explained by the arrival of bugs from space. The Hindu origin of the Olmecs. As early as the 17th and 18th century, some distinguished linguists concluded that non-Africanoid mankind probably originated in India, the Near East, and Siberia. These scholars were able to show that place, tribal, and religious names tended to stay the same, no matter how far certain ancient tribes dispersed themselves in different parts of the earth. Later on in the 20th century, in keeping with rising ethnocentrism in the world, many biased scholars tried to discredit the 17th and 18th century pioneers in linguistics, saying that words in one language, sounding alike and having similar meanings in other languages, did not prove that these languages were related. They created a pseudoscience called 'Historical Linguistics'. For nearly all the last half of the 20th century, these historical linguists held sway over the minds of historians and archeologists, much to the delight of those "noble savages" wanting to think of their respective ethnicities and cultures as "original"

A strep-infected child in a daycare center plays with a toy, puts it in her mouth and crawls away. Another child plays with the same toy and comes down with strep. Until now, scientists thought that disease-causing bacteria left on the toy was the culprit in transferring the disease from the first child to the second. New research at The Rockefeller University shows that the culprit sometimes might not be the bacteria but a virus that infects and destroys the bacteria. Called a bacteriophage, this "bacteria-eating" virus causes disease by transferring toxins and other disease-causing genes between bacteria

An annular eclipse will trace a backward path across Earth this weekend, beginning at sunrise on Saturday in Europe and ending in Alaska at sunset the day before. Most eclipses follow a track from west to east. But this solar eclipse will graze the northern edge of Earth just three weeks before the Northern Hemisphere's summer solstice, where the far northern reaches are experiencing a midnight sun. The odd geometry presented by the alignment of the sun, moon, and Earth will cause the shadow to sweep westward across Earth in a "D" shape, crossing the International Date Line with the eclipse ending the day before it began. Eclipses that move from east to west are quite rare. The last one occurred on May 19, 1985, and the next will occur on June 10, 2021

On the face of it, this contradicts Einstein's special theory of relativity. So, rather than saying as Einstein did that nothing can be faster than the speed of light in a vacuum (abbreviated as c), physicists now prefer a more precise version: information cannot travel faster than c
Self-Repairing Computers. By embracing the inevitability of system failures, recovery-oriented computing returns service faster. Digital computing performance has improved 10,000-fold in the past two decades: what took a year of number crunching in 1983 takes less than an hour nowadays, and a desktop computer from that era can't match the processing power of one of today's handheld organizers

Are "their" aliens among us? The Biggest Secret. An interview with author David Icke [ Caution: David Icke is right in many things he says, but he is a Christ-hater and that is something to have heavily into account. Constitution Foresees Fundamentally Different EU. The Union and the way it functions is set to be radically altered under further proposals, unveiled on Tuesday, for a European Constitution. With the headline goal of making the Union effective in a Union of 25, member states' vetoes have been taken away in several key justice and home affairs areas - but the proposals are set to incur criticism from the campaigners on both the pro- and anti- European sides of the fence
Experimentation without representation is tyranny. The sharp divide between a scientific inside, where experts are formulating theories, and a political outside, where nonexperts are getting by with human values, is evaporating. And the more it does, the more the fate of humans is linked to that of things, the more a scientific statement ("The Earth is warming") resembles a political one ("The Earth is warming!"). Sending a Serious Message to Syria. The May 3 meeting in the presidential palace on the hilltop overlooking Damascus was short and to the point. Secretary of State Colin Powell, flanked by State Department Arabists, told Syrian dictator Bashar Assad that the U.S. victory in Iraq had changed the way America plans to do business in the Middle East. The days of the cozy deals and of winking and nodding at Syrian support for terrorism were ended. He then presented Assad with a list of U.S. demands that was nothing short of breathtaking

The Matrix is a Reality. Any research that shows the importance of Sacred Geometry in Quantum- and/or Astrophysics, the very tiny or the very large, is not likely ever to surface into public view. Almost all of our conventional scientific models are riddled with inconsistencies, yet these are almost never discussed in the mass print media. In this article it is revealed new information that, if we were living in a truly free world of information sharing, should be seen as a startling breakthrough, finally revealing the true nature and structure of our universe
Sacred Geometry. In nature, we find patterns, designs and structures from the most minuscule particles, to expressions of life discernible by human eyes, to the greater cosmos. These inevitably follow geometrical archetypes, which reveal to us the nature of each form and its vibrational resonances. They are also symbolic of the underlying metaphysical principle of the inseparable relationship of the part to the whole. It is this principle of oneness underlying all geometry that permeates the architecture of all form in its myriad diversity. This principle of interconnectedness, inseparability and union provides us with a continuous reminder of one All Intelligent Creator [ Beware: this article is found in a New Age site. Concern about SARS shut down a Toronto-area high school on Wednesday, sending staff and students into quarantine and raising fears the virus may have spread from hospitals to the broader community. More than 6,400 people, including 2,000 from the school, are now in quarantine in the greater Toronto area after Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome resurfaced six days ago. Before then, Toronto had thought it had beaten the disease — no new cases were reported from mid-April to mid-May

The United States and Russia spent billions on a dozen or so robotic craft meant to land on Mars and radio back their findings. Only three succeeded — two Viking probes in 1976 and Mars Pathfinder in 1997. Now comes a bold new contender. The disklike craft is the Beagle II, built on a shoestring by Britain, in partnership with the European Space Agency, and named after the ship whose voyages fed Darwin's theorizing about evolution. Its goal is not only to do basic science but, for the first time in a quarter century, to look for signs of extraterrestrial life, ancient or modern

Spanish archaeologists on Tuesday announced that they had discovered the remains of about 160 early humans. They said most of the bones belonged to males and females aged between 12 and 20 years. The large number and young age of the humans interred there also led archaeologists to conclude that they had been killed in warfare [ Isn't this stupid? Public Remains Skeptical of News Media. Majority of Americans believe news organizations often get facts wrong. While Americans have historically viewed the news media with a jaundiced eye, a new Gallup Poll conducted May 19-21, in the wake of the Blair scandal, found that 62% of Americans now believe news organizations are often inaccurate in their reporting. Just 36% believe media outlets "get the facts straight." This feeling has grown considerably since Gallup first asked the question in 1985. At that time, 55% of Americans felt that news stories were accurate, while 34% said the reports were often inaccurate. In later years, feelings became more evenly divided, but a sea change took place following the 2000 presidential election. A Gallup Poll conducted in December of that year " during the post-election controversy in Florida " found that 65% rated news stories as "often inaccurate," while just 32% called the coverage accurate. The same question asked in a Gallup Poll conducted February 17-19, 2003 found that 58% rated news stories as "often inaccurate," compared to 39% who rated them as accurate

Is Mary the Mother of Apostatic Interreligious Dialogue? Because of her special place in Christianity, Judaism and Islam, Mary is regarded as a meeting point in interreligious dialogue. So says Archbishop Francesco Gioia, president of the Vatican's institution for pilgrimages to the "See of Peter", in his book 'Mary, Mother of the Word , Model of Dialogue Between Religions', published by Città Nuova. "While for Christians Mary is the Mother of God and Mother of the Church, for the Jews she is 'the exalted daughter of Zion,'" the prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Sacraments, Cardinal Francis Arinze, says in the book's introduction. "For the Muslims, Mary is the Mother of Jesus," the cardinal continues. "The Koran mentions her 34 times. Moreover, she is a 'sign for creatures' (Sura 21, 91), and is presented as a model believer." "Although Jews and Muslims do not accept the central truth of the divinity of Jesus Christ, they honor Mary greatly," Cardinal Arinze says
