Worthy of Attention:   There's a new peace plan gaining support in Israel that has nothing to do with making land concessions to Arabs, negotiations with Yasser Arafat, extending the Oslo Accords or creating a new Palestinian state. Instead, the seven-point Elon Peace Plan represents a radical departure in Israeli thinking over the last 12 years. Named for Benny Elon, the relatively small Moledet Party's leader and a member of the Knesset, the new peace plan calls for transferring Arabs from the West Bank and other areas to what Elon calls the "existing state of Palestine" – the nation of Jordan. The population of Jordan, Elon points out, is currently comprised of 70 percent Palestinians. That is why he calls it the existing Palestinian state. Polls show between 20 and 30 percent of Israelis ready to back such a plan [ Hip! Hip! Hip! Hooray! Go Elon! ]

Israel Without Yeshuah:   Thousands of Muslim Arabs are praying to their false god at the Aksa Mosque on the Temple Mount Friday morning, in honor of the second Friday of their month of Ramadan. According to media reports, 180,000 Arabs are on the mount. Jerusalem security was stepped-up for the occasion; hundreds of officers have been dispatched to the Old City [ The cowardice in Israel is simply staggering. Prophetic Israel:   Over half the country - 53% - objects to significant concessions to the Arabs of Yesha, even in exchange for a peace agreement. A Geocartographic Institute survey, broadcast on Army Radio today, also states that some 84% are against dividing Jerusalem under any circumstances

Archaeologists have warned the 35-foot-long bulge in the southern wall of the Al Aqsa mosque compound, around the corner from where Jews pray at the Western Wall, could cause the structure to topple. The mosque is built on the ruins of the biblical Jewish Temples [ Do you believe him? ]

Worthy of Attention:   Israeli Foreign Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that if he was elected prime minister in January elections he would force Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat from the Palestinian territories

War in Israel:   The response to the murderous attack in Kibbutz Metzer will be harsh and immediate, a senior security source said on Monday. Meanwhile, preparations are under way to launch a widespread operation in Samaria, focusing mainly on Nablus and Tulkarm, in an attempt to wipe out the Fatah Tanzim terrorist infrastructure and catch those responsible for dispatching the Metzer terrorist and other would-be attackers

Palestinian security sources described a mass incursion at 0400 (0200 GMT) with dozens of tanks and armoured vehicles, which took up position around the old city quarter. War in Israel:   The IDF swept into Tul Karm refugee camp in the West Bank early Tuesday, following a Palestinian militant attack on a northern kibbutz that killed three adults and two children, witnesses said. The Palestinian witnesses and security sources said around 30 tanks, armored troop carriers and jeeps entered the camp around 3 A.M. and fanned through the streets. They reported shooting from IDF troops but no immediate resistance from Palestinian militants. The IDF had no immediate comment

Enemies of Israel:   Islamic militant group Hamas has discussed a possible one-year halt to suicide bomb attacks during talks in Cairo with Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat's Fatah faction. In the talks, which began Saturday in an effort to iron out tensions between the two sides in their fight against Israeli occupation, the sides are discussing whether Hamas will participate in Palestinian presidential and parliamentary elections set for January. The talks are expected to wrap up on Tuesday with a final communiqué and an agreement to resume discussions at a later date after consultations on the Cairo talks with their leaderships

Rumors of Wars:   Jordan's military has captured scores of Islamic mercernaries in a widescale search operation for insurgents in the southern city of Ma'an. Jordanian military sources said scores of Egyptians, Iraqis and Pakistanis have been captured over the last two days during the operation in Ma'an. Ma'an, a focal point of gun- and drug-smuggling from and to Iraq and Syria, is regarded as a stronghold of the Islamic opposition, financed by Iraq. A Syrian national and an Indian national are among the suspected insurgents arrested in Ma'an. The detainees were not further identified

Rumors of Wars:   Iran reports that it has developed a range of cruise missiles. Officials said the Nur cruise missile was successfully launched earlier this year. The cruise missile was then manufactured. Teheran has already procured a naval and ground version of the Nur. The range of the missile was not disclosed. Iran has obtained technology for its cruise missile program from China and Russia, Western intelligence sources. They said China helped launch Iran's cruise missile program while Russia provided greater aid to Teheran's ballistic missile development. A Congressional Research Service report said China has exported the C-802 anti-ship cruise missile to Iran. The report, released earlier this month, said China transferred 15 naval vessels to Iran equipped with the cruise missile

Rumors of Wars:   Egypt is preparing to receive four naval vessels from Germany. Industry sources said the Type 148 Tiger-class fast patrol craft will arrive from Germany early next year. They said this will complete an agreement for the transfer of aging German naval boats to Egypt. Germany plans to retire up to 20 patrol boats built by France and which became operational in 1972. It is not clear whether the other retired boats will be transferred. In May, Egypt received the Alk naval craft. The rest of the boats will be retired in December and then arrive in Egypt by April 2003

The test was considered as a prelude to a demonstration in January by Israel and the United States in which a PAC-2 will try to intercept a Scud missile. The PAC-2 is based on the Patriot anti-aircraft system and was said to have failed to intercept any of the 42 Scud missiles fired by Iraq during the 1991 Gulf war

Israel " the NWO:   The Bush administration appears uneasy over the prospect of Israeli national elections on what is expected to be the eve of a U.S.-led war against Iraq. Western diplomatic sources said Washington is concerned over the prospect that Israeli elections will result in a right-wing government that will anger Arab allies of the United States. They said the administration envisions that this could hurt efforts to win support for a military campaign against Iraqi President Saddam Hussein. "The feeling is that the United States will launch a war in February," a senior diplomatic source said. "The idea that a right-wing government led by [Prime Minister Ariel] Sharon would be waving a red flag to U.S. allies in the Middle East." Sharon has relayed a message to the United States that said he would retain his policies. The message assured Washington that the prime minister would avoid any step that would destabilize the Middle East

Commentary:   Tell the truth about the Jerusalem Temple. Israel today is suffering from a culture increasingly dominated by an orthodox Islamic interpretation of history. According to this interpretation, the Temple in Jerusalem has nothing to do with the Jews, the Bible was re-written to contradict Islam, the Jews are descendants of monkey and pigs, America is engaged in a crusade to destroy Islam, while Muslim jihad is a purely spiritual concept, and so forth. No one really believes any of these things, which are all nothing but a self-serving pack of lies. But for many Muslims that does not matter. Sincerity and religious belief do not necessarily go together. Just ask the millions of innocent non-Muslims who were forced to utter the Muslim creed and whose resulting forced conversions were considered valid by Muslim law. What is important here is what you say, not what you believe. So we should beware of humoring our Muslim friends by acquiescing in their lies under threat of violence. Chief among the lies is that Mohammed visited Jerusalem. Together with that goes the denial that there is anything Jewish about Jerusalem or that the Temple of Solomon ever stood on the Temple Mount. Yet, in 1935, the Moslem religious authority administering the Mount, the Wakf, itself issued a pamphlet describing the Temple Mount as the site of Solomon’s temple, so they seem to know it perfectly well. Yet, in our increasingly medieval world, we are all supposed to just pretend and go along with it, all in order to avoid threats of violence. Maybe it is time for us to stop living in a world of make-believe. There is a limit to how long we can continue giving away all of our historical possessions on the basis of deceitful stories. Some Muslims seem to understand the power of lies very well, and they know that if we act as though it is true, eventually we may just come to believe that it is true. And then what will become of the Jewish and Christian religions? It is nice to imagine that Islam is a tolerant religion, but it would be even nicer if there were any good grounds for such imagination. Is tolerating intolerance a contribution to world peace?

Rumors of Wars:   Israel's Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has called on the international community to target Iran as soon as the imminent conflict with Iraq is complete. In an interview with The Times, Mr Sharon insisted that Tehran — one of the "axis of evil" powers identified by President Bush — should be put under pressure "the day after" action against Baghdad ends because of its role as a "centre of world terror". He also issued his clearest warning yet that Israel would strike back if attacked by Iraqi chemical or biological weapons, no matter how much Washington sought to keep its controversial Middle Eastern ally out of any war in Iraq. He made clear that western Iraq would be one of the first areas targeted by the US in any invasion, saying that lessons had been learnt from strategic mistakes of the 1991 Gulf War when Iraq successfully fired 39 Scud missiles into Israel

Rumors of Wars:   The United States will act to "dissuade and deter" Iraq from attacking Israel during any U.S.-led military campaign against Saddam Hussein's regime, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said Monday. It was the clearest public statement to date by a high-level U.S. official of an American commitment to defend Israel. President George W. Bush has reportedly assured Prime Minister Ariel Sharon of U.S. efforts to prevent an Iraqi attack on Israel. "We're sensitive to the risks," Rumsfeld told reporters at the Pentagon. "They [the Israelis] live in a difficult neighborhood. And needless to say, our interest and their interest would be in avoiding any attack on Israel. And we intend to do, as they intend to do, those kinds of things that would deter and dissuade that from happening"

Prophetic Israel:   Israel's next national elections will be held in less than three months' time - most probably on Jan. 28, 2003, the 25th of Sh'vat, 5763. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon exercised his right this morning to dissolve the Knesset and call elections for 90 days later, and President Moshe Katzav, whose approval of the move is legally required, made the official announcement at 9 AM today

Prophetic Israel:   President Moshe Katzav called this morning for a low-budget election campaign, and asked that it be short, clean and issues-centered. Knesset Speaker MK Avraham Burg (Labor) and Justice Committee Chairman MK Michael Eitan (Likud) also said they would work together to pass legislation to limit campaign expenses. Much work remains for the parties before the election - and less than three months in which to do it. The main parties must choose their leaders; the Labor primaries are scheduled for Nov. 19, while the Likud has not yet scheduled its election

Prophetic Israel:   Binyamin Netanyahu will, in fact, be sworn in as Foreign Minister tomorrow morning in the Knesset. Netanyahu, who was Prime Minister from 1996-1999 and hopes to assume the post again three months from now, held his own press conference early this afternoon. He emphasized that elections now are not "the least of all evils," as Sharon had said, but rather "the best thing that could happen to Israel at this time"

Infrastructures Minister Effie Eitam, head of the National Religious Party (NRP), expressed regret today that the right-wing leaders of the National Union-Yisrael Beitenu (NUYB) bloc had refused to enter into the Sharon government. "After all, they had already served under the existing government platform... Whether refusing to join the coalition is considered ‘causing the fall’ or merely 'preventing its establishment' is a question to which there may be either evasive or clever answers, but the bottom line is the same" Minister Eitam said that the charge of the hour is to unite the religious-Zionist parties into one list for the upcoming elections, "and I will make this call every day, from every forum."

Enemies of Israel:   Islamic terror group Hamas has launched a new Web magazine for kids that praises murderous "martyrs" while encouraging children to follow the example of committing suicide for their evil "cause." Complete with cartoon characters and other pictures demonstrating the so-called "heroism of Palestinian children," the online magazine, titled Al-Fateh, promises "pages discussing Jihad (holy war), scientific pages, the best stories, not be found elsewhere, and unequalled tales of satanic 'heroism'." The webzine's editor hopes it will be read by "our 'beloved' youth, the leaders of the future." The name of one of the main cartoon characters - a small boy on horseback wielding a sword - is "The Conqueror." Translated, Al-Fatah could have several meanings, one of which is "conqueror." [ Who does this pig-worshipper think he is going to deceive? How would these children be the "leaders of tomorrow" if they commint suicide? Only in the obtuse - and obfuscated by demons - mind of a Muslim arab such imbecility can make sense ]

Palestinian sources said the dispute pits those around Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat, who want Fatah to limit attacks to Israeli targets in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and field commanders who want to expand their operations to the Jewish state

Enemies of Israel:   The Iranian Parliament has begun debating a controversial bill aimed at stripping conservative hardliners of some of their powers. The move is being seen a showdown between the pro-reformist President, Mohammad Khatami, and his conservative rivals who have blocked his efforts to create a more open society. The bill would remove the 12-member Guardians Council's right to veto election candidates, which has previously kept some reformists out of power. It comes a day after Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, pardoned the country's top jailed dissident, while another prominent reformist was arrested by the conservative-controlled courts. The parliament is also preparing to debate a bill which would give the president powers to suspend court rulings viewed as unconstitutional. The courts have recently clamped down on dozens of liberal newspapers and jailed a number of President Khatami's supporters

Two unexplained "spikes" in the seismic record from Sept. 11 indicate huge bursts of energy shook the ground beneath the World Trade Center’s twin towers immediately prior to the collapse. Pools of "molten steel" found at the base of the collapsed twin towers weeks after the collapse. Although the energy source for these incredibly hot areas has yet to be explained, New York seismometers recorded huge bursts of energy, which caused unexplained seismic "spikes" at the beginning of each collapse. These spikes suggest that massive underground explosions may have literally knocked the towers off their foundations, causing them to collapse. Kerosene-based jet fuel, paper, or the other combustibles normally found in the towers, cannot generate the heat required to melt steel. Construction steel has an extremely high melting point of about 2,800 degrees Fahrenheit. The maximum temperature that can be reached by hydrocarbons like jet-fuel burning in air is 1,520 degrees Fahrenheit. Because the WTC fires were fuel rich, as evidenced by the thick black smoke, it is argued that they did not reach this upper limit. Five days after the collapse, on Sept. 16, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) used an Airborne Visible/Infrared Imaging Spectrometer (AVIRIS) to locate and measure the site’s hot spots. Dozens of hot spots were mapped, the hottest being in the east corner of the South Tower where a temperature of 1,377 degrees F was recorded. At the time of the indictment, the man was known only as Abdella. Federal officials allege Elmardoudi provided direction to three other men charged in the indictment. Elmardoudi, Karim Koubriti, 24, Ahmed Hannan, 34, and Farouk Ali-Haimoud, 22, were charged with conspiracy to provide material support or resources to terrorists. Koubriti, Hannan and Ali-Haimoud have pleaded innocent. A trial is scheduled for Jan. 21. The indictment says the men sought to obtain weaponry to benefit operatives overseas and recruit people for violent activity. Elmardoudi was arrested Nov. 5 in North Carolina and appeared in court there the same day. He was ordered transferred to Detroit for a detention hearing. Federal officials in Detroit said they didn't know when Elmardoudi would arrive

The dairy in Kropotkin, a town in the Krasnodar region some 750 miles south of Moscow, has been shut down since Wednesday and its products banned. 849 people were hospitalized in that region, 568 of them younger than 18. At least 122 other people suffering from dysentery, 59 of them children, were hospitalized in the neighboring regions of Stavropol, North Ossetia, Rostov-on-Don and Adygeya.
