Although Pollard was never convicted of treason, the message of the US governmnet was clear: give Pollard a life sentence regardless of the plea agreement made with him, and despite the fact that the information Pollard passed to Israel only concerned Syrian, Iraqi, Libyan and Iranian nuclear, chemical and biological warfare capabilities – all being developed for use against Israel. It also included information on ballistic missile development by these countries and information on planned terrorist attacks against Israeli civilian targets. But the US was deliberately withholding this vital information, despite a legal commitment to share this data with its ally, Israel. That is why Pollard took action for Israel – not against America! It is obvious that the hatred against Pollard has more to do with Israel, the country he served, than with Pollard himself [ The information he passed did not affect US national security, only Israel's. Observe that spies from sworn enemy countries are imprisoned less time than Pollard – but he got a political life sentence just for being Jewish and helping the Jewish state. No, the US government has NEVER being so pro-Israel as people like to think. On the other hand, as the Indians can solidly testify, one should never make an agreement with the US government – as Pollard did – because for these weasels, agreements are disigned to be readily broken. Jonathan Pollard should remind us of Yossef imprisoned in cruel Egypt, and of the Alfred Dreyfus affair in anti-Semitic France in the 1800s. Because of this, no Jewish scientist should cooperate, in the very least, with the American intelligence and military until Pollard is freed – and in Israel. Better yet, make Aliyah, go to Israel. Your brain is greatly needed – and much more appreciated – over there than in America. After all, without Jewish ingenuity, and capital, America would be a regular low country like any other. Contrary to wishful thinking, the people of Israel built modern America, not the other way around. As a matter of fact, the entire world owes Israel much, while Israel owes nothing to the world. Oh yes, I know, I know, truth is hard on popular pride – but still it's the truth. Hmm, imagine that: naked truth in a world of many lies! ]
