Subject: For The Love of Zion
Dear Mishpochah (family):
In the late 1970's, Hal Lindsey wrote a book, 'The Late Great Planet Earth'. This book sold MILLIONS of copies.
This book was the beginning of the Evangelical Christian interest in Bible Prophecy in the modern Era.
Mostly all of us who have been associated with Evangelical Christianity are quite familiar with the Evangelical teaching of the End of Days.
However is the Evangelical Christian view the SAME as the Hebraic view?
Evangelical Christianity does NOT teach the Body of Messiah that we need to express our Faith in Yeshua/Jesus as Messiah by following Torah.
Evangelical Christianity does NOT teach that the two Houses of Israel will be restored and regathered during the Tribulation prior to the Second Coming of the Messiah.
Evangelical Christianity does NOT regard that a MAJOR sign of the End of Days and the Coming of the Messiah is an End-Time battle between Jacob and Esaw.
While Evangelical Christianity does NOT teach these things regarding the End of Days, the prophets of Israel (Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah etc) DO.
You probably already know the Evangelical view of the End of Days but do you know the HEBRAIC VIEW?
The HEBRAIC VIEW of the End of Days is the cry of ZION.
What Is Zion?
In the past week, I had an e-mail conversation with a "Zion" ministry. However, this ministry does NOT teach about the two Houses of Israel. The person told that this is too "hot" of a topic for the ministry for them to deal with.
I wrote back to this person and asked them, "How can you call yourself a ZION ministry when you DON'T know what ZION is?"
Do you realize that Evangelical Christianity does NOT know what ZION is also?
So what is BIBLICAL ZION?
Biblical Zion is:
#1) The people of YHVH repenting of their sins, believing that Yeshua/Jesus is the Messiah and following His Torah.
#2) The Restoration and regathering of both Houses of Israel.
#3) The coming of King Messiah and the Messianic Era.
Basically, Biblical Zion is all about the Second Coming of the Messiah and the Messianic Era.
YET ... evangelical Christianity doesn't believe they should follow Torah.
YET ... evangelical Christianity doesn't know about the importance and significance of the Restoration and regathering of both Houses of Israel.
As a result, while He tarried, they all SLUMBERED AND SLEPT.
Matthew 25:5 says,
"Now while the bridegroom took time, they all slumbered and slept."
ZION is SLEEPING!
Why?
Because ZION doesn't know that they need to follow Torah.
ZION doesn't know that there will be a Restoration and Regathering of both Houses of Israel back to the land of Israel.
So HOW does ZION get awakened out of her sleep?
Blow The Trumpet In Zion
Joel 2:1 says,
"Blow a SHOFAR (ram’s horn) in Zion, and sound an alarm in My Holy Mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the earth tremble, for the Day of YHWH is coming, for it is near."
A SHOFAR is being blown in ZION at the dawn of the Messianic Era (Day of YHVH).
Why? Those IN ZION are BLOWING a SHOFAR to wake up those who are slumbering.
The Bible calls those WATCHMEN in ZION who are BLOWING the SHOFAR to awaken the people of YHVH out of their spiritual slumber.
Isaiah 52:8,
The voice of your WATCHMEN! They shall lift up their voices, together they shout for joy, because eye to eye they see the return of YHWH to Zion.
Also Jeremiah 31:6 says,
"For there shall be a day when the WATCHMEN cry on Mount Ephrayim, 'Arise, and let us go up to Zion, to YHWH our Elohim'."
The WATCHMEN say: "Let us go to Zion." But, how do they do it? With a SHOFAR. While this can be expressed literally, spiritually it is a call to FOLLOW TORAH and PREPARE to return to the land of Israel and stand with Judah in the land.
Out Of Zion Goes Froth The Torah
The watchmen of Zion say: "Follow Torah." For out of ZION shall go forth the Torah.
Isaiah 2:3 says,
"And many peoples shall come and say, 'Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YHWH, to the House of the Elohim of Ya'aqob (Jacob), and let Him teach us His ways, and let us walk in His paths, for out of Tsyion (Zion) comes forth the Torah, and the Word of YHWH from Yerushalayim (Jerusalem)."
If you are NOT following Torah then you are NOT in Zion because out of ZION shall go forth the TORAH.
WATCHMEN Upon The Walls Of Jerusalem
OUT OF ZION goes forth the TORAH from JERUSALEM.
ZION = JERUSALEM
JERUSALEM = ZION
Out of Zion goes forth the Torah because the WATCHMEN are upon the walls of Jerusalem.
Isaiah 62:6-7 says,
"I have set WATCHMEN on your walls, O Yerushalayim, all the day and all the night, continually, who are not silent. You who remember YHWH, give yourselves no rest; and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Yerushalayim a praise in the earth."
Zion Returns To The Land of Israel
Jeremiah 3:14 says,
"'Return, O backsliding children', declares YHWH, 'for I shall rule over you, and shall take you, one from a city and two from a clan, and shall bring you to Tsiyon'."
In Jeremiah 3:18 it says,
"In those days the House of Yehudah (Judah) shall go to the House of Yisra’El, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given as an inheritance to your fathers."
ZION = the house of Judah and the house of Israel walking together
ZION = the house of Judah and the house of Israel return to the land of Israel
Psalm 102:16 goes like this,
"For YHWH shall build up Tsiyon, He shall appear in His Glory."
Build Zion = the house of Judah and the house of Israel walking together
Build Zion = Messiah appearing in His glory
Psalm 147:2 declares,
"HWHY builds up Yerushalayim, He gathers the outcasts of Yisra’El"
Build Zion = Build Jerusalem
Build Zion = Build Jerusalem = Gathers the outcasts of Israel
Jeremiah 23:3 adds,
"Therefore I shall gather the REMNANT of My flock out of all the lands where I have driven them, and shall bring them back to their fold. And they shall bear and increase."
Ezekiel 34:13 stated,
"And I shall bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the lands, and shall bring them to their own land.
And I shall feed them on the mountains of Yisra’El, in the valleys, and in all the dwellings of the land."
Build Zion = Build Jerusalem = Gather the outcasts of Israel =
End of the exile of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah
When Does Zion Return To The Land Of ISRAEL?
Zion returns to the land of Israel during the End-Time battle between Jacob and Esau. This is called the "controversy of Zion."
Isaiah 34:8 says,
"For it is the Day of the Vengeance of YHWH, the year of Recompense for the controversy of Tsiyon."
There is a "controversy" in Zion when
the land of Israel gets divided.
When the nations of the world (with the permission of the nation of Israel) divide the land of Israel, it will result in JUDGMENT upon the land of ISRAEL AND UPON THE WHOLE WORLD.
Joel 3:1-2 reveals,
"For look, in Those Days and at that Time, when I turn back the captivity of Yehudah and Yerushalayim, then I shall gather all the gentiles, and bring them down to the Valley of Yehoshaphat. And I shall enter into JUDGMENT with them there for My People, My Inheritance Yisra’El, whom they have scattered among the gentiles, and they have divided up My land."
PARTING MY LAND = JUDGMENT OF THE NATIONS
What is the form of this JUDGMENT? We call it the "war against terrorism."
BUILDING UP OF ZION = THEW RETURN OF MESSIAH
The building up of Zion is associated with the return of the Messiah.
Psalm 102:13 declares,
"You Yourself shall arise and have Compassion on Tsiyon, for the time to favour her — the Appointed Time — has come."
And Psalm 102:16 predicts that,
"When YHWH shall build up Tsiyon, He shall appear in His Glory."
But the sad truth is that ZION is ASLEEP! Zion needs to be awakened with a SHOFAR BLAST.
The Southern/Midwest Tour
'Monte Judah of Lion and Lamb Ministries' and Eddie Chumney of 'Hebraic Heritage Ministries International' conducted a "Southern Tour" of the USA in February, 2004 and a "Midwest Tour" in August, 2004.
What is our message? WAKE UP ZION!
We are presenting what we call the "Doctrine and Prophecy of the Two Houses."
We present:
- If you are a believer in Messiah, you need to follow Torah. ( But you say, if this is so, why haven't we been taught this in our churches? The answer is it is called, 'Dispensationalism' or 'Replacement Theology'. So, why have we NOT understood?)
- You need to know the difference between the LITERAL House of Jacob and the REDEEMED House of Jacob. We explain this on the teaching tour.
- We are in the End-Time battle between Jacob and Esau
- The rabbis teach that the End-Time battle between Jacob and Esau results in the Restoration and regathering of both Houses of Israel
